#1 Pak upset on India N-deal, snubs Rice

Analysts in Islamabad say that the fact that neither the Pakistani foreign minister nor any other government minister was present at the Chaklala airport to receive Rice as per the standard protocol procedure was significant and should be seen in the light of Pakistans complaint that the Bush administration is showing favouritism to Pakistans arch rival, India.

Pakistan has complained unsuccessfully that it should receive the same civilian nuclear help the United States intends to give India.

#3 Sooner or later, someday, the West is going to have to adopt-- and strictly enforce-- a policy of "no nuclear technology for Muslims."

Probably won't happen in our lifetimes, but that's the way it's gonna end up, whether they like it or not.
