#5 Martin is playing for time. Jack Layton is selling his soul to the devil because their internal polling shows that if an election is held, both the ~~socialist~~ Liberals and ~~communist~~ NDP would be wiped out. The public polling is starting to show a significant swing in Ontario to the Conservatives. People are ready to punish the Liberals and wont take to kindly to NDP trying to prolong the inveitable just to save same sex marriage.
