#2 This one smells of inside information or of Skylink and/or Blackwater being to darn routine in their travel plans. You just don't show up in a blue pickup truck right under the flight plan of an Mi-8 shuttle to Tikrit without prior knowledge. We need to either stop being so darn obvious or find the inside links to these things.

#6 I was just thinking about how gratifying it must be to participate in an operation like this. It would be especially so if the snatch team were shown the video first; to see the jihadis gloating and capering in their murderous triumph, then have them cowering at your feet a little later.

#9 In one video, insurgents are seen capturing and shooting to death the lone survivor, identified as a Bulgarian pilot. AH yes, CF, the Geneva Convention. If they want GC protection, then they should play by the rules. After all they claimed to be the Islamic Army in Iraq. Otherwise, anymouse's suggestion,#3, seems appropriate.

#10 Remember the last time (Falluja) when Blackwater people were murdered? A short time later, a set-up attack was made by a large number of insurgents on a seemingly helpless band of Blackwater personnel who SLAUGHTERED somewhere between 40-60 of the attackers. Man, if I am going to piss somebody off, it sure as heck isn't going to be Blackwater employees. Or Bulgarians and Romanians, for that matter. Geez, it could get your whole extended family killed.
