The ships have already sunk, imnsho. Nearly every 'name' that's on the Daily Beast masthead is a refugee from a failed or failing magazine or newspaper. We already know what the former Post-owned Newsweek is.

The question is when the survivors will start drawing lots to see who gets eaten first.
