#1 … runoff for a Texas state Senate seat that had been held by Democrats for more than a decade.

According to the San Antonio Express, the seat has been held by Democrats for 139 years--even before Reconstruction ended in Texas. The loser was a former Democrat Congressman that used to represent the area.

Republicans all over the country should be thanking Beto O'Rourke for sucking up Democrat contributions from all over the country. He pulled in another 9.1m in August. Won't matter. Hispanics won't vote in the numbers necessary for a man that wore a dress in a punk rock band.
