#1 There will be talks. The Tribes do not want you running them and the Religious Clerics are Horrified at you. This Brutality serves no purpose and we all know this is run through Pakistan too.

Aghans are decent people and you have rotted them with this constant surge of hate, fear, dogma, and horrible governorship.

#4 Afghans are decent people

I disagree with this blanket statement. There may be decent Afghans but liberated Afghanistan is a hostile and evil entity because the Afghan people's mainstream opinion wants it to be.

Supporting Afghanistan may be expedient for reasons of realpolitik, but it is not a moral cause.

Talking to the Taliban is even worse, because it further undermines what is left of Western and US deterrence.
