#2 The only people DeSantis has to debate are other GOP primary opponents. The only way he would have to debate Gov. Brylcreem is if they are their respective parties' nominees.

That would imply each of them has knocked off Trump and Bidet respectively in their primaries.

Newsom is a horrible candidate. But if he runs against DeSantis, uniparty synergy, DeSantis will make Newsom look the more palatable of the two candidates.
