#1 There are a bunch of laws in place to help out folks who run into a bad turn. Those laws are being abused by a new class of predatory squatters. Between squatters and destructive tenants, I don’t know why anyone would want to be a landlord. This situation is not going to work out well for people who don’t already own homes or are paying a mortgage.

I don’t know why anyone would want to be a landlord.

With the new predatory squatting, anyone who owns any kind of real estate has become a landlord, whether they want it or not. Laws related to this need drastic revision nationwide.
