#1 A National Intelligence Director, with no real authority over US national intelligence, asked to comment on open-source documents, by a Senator whose agenda on Syria is well known.

Should've done this on the View with Whoopie and Babs, instead of in a Senate hearing.

#3 The big question is what can the US do? Both sides seem unwilling to listen to complaints about humanitarian problems. Both sides seem like total sh*ts. If the US goes in, guns blazing, all it will do is add to the civilian death toll.

#5 Who is James Clapper Was, you say? Well he goes on to say this:

"Somewhere in the neighborhood of between 20,000 and maybe up to a top range of 26,000 we regard as extremists," he said. "And they are disproportionately influential because they are among the most effective fighters on the battlefield."

Funny, I thought influence was directly proportional to effectiveness.
