(Daniel Greenfield)However the presidential election turns out, one thing is clear, half the country will believe that the man officially sitting in the White House is an illegitimate pretender.
And that’s the way it’s been throughout this century.
The crisis of presidential legitimacy really kicked into gear in 2000. Before that people might hate the president, but the opposing political party wouldn’t insist on his illegitimacy. Afterward every president has been treated as an illegitimate criminal to be opposed and driven out.
Twenty years later, the Democrat strategy of presidential illegitimacy has brought the country to the brink of civil war. Declaring that President Bush was illegitimate wasn’t just rhetoric. Congressional Democrats fought certification of the election results in 2000 and 2004, and touted impeachment. The Iraq War did not radicalize Democrat opposition to Bush, like the pandemic, it gave the already radicalized Democrats a tangible thing to justify their treason.
The Democrat doctrine of presidential illegitimacy changed how our government worked.
The first duty of House Democrats became public shows of resistance and hostility to an illegitimate president. And presidents responded by acting unilaterally through executive orders and actions. The collapse of relations between the executive and legislative branches led to a stalemate that benefited the unelected parts of the government: judicial and administrative.
Republicans worked to secure the judiciary while Democrats tightened their hold on the administrative state. But pitting a conservative judiciary, in politics and temperament, against the culture war of elites and their administrative state that made the rules was an uphill battle.
The losers were voters whose ability to influence the issues they cared about dropped as the unelected parts of government grew more powerful while the power of the voters shrank.
But the American people by inclination and the system by design tended to split the legislative and executive branches between rival political parties to maintain a check on political power.
The Democrats responded with frantic schemes to rig the system through ballot harvesting and election fraud, abolishing the electoral college, and adding Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico as states all to bypass the clear preference of voters for a divided political system.
Their goal isn’t to make the system fairer, but to rig the system so no one else can win.
The Democrats reacted to 2016 by demanding that some of the country’s biggest companies, in and out of the tech industry, join them in fighting President Trump. The resulting oligarchy consolidated a political movement and its cultural sympathizers in the administrative state and corporate sphere to declare a total war against President Trump and his supporters using tactics ranging from widespread censorship on the internet to wiretapping and criminal investigations..
The sum total of this effort was to move power further away from voters and into an oligarchy.
The irony of an oligarchy consisting of some of the most powerful men and women in the country, and their corporations and government institutions consolidating power under the guise of fighting for the oppressed has plenty of historical precedents. All of these precedents are bad.
The oligarchy claims that contrary views, which it labels "disinformation" pose a unique threat to "democracy".The unique threat isn’t posed by disinformation, disagreeable speech, or lies, a concept as old as mankind, but by the usurpation of political power by an unelected oligarchy.
Between 2016 and 2020, elections have been undermined, voters have been disenfranchised, and the First Amendment has been dispensed with in response to various emergencies, from President Trump’s victory to the pandemic by the private-public alliance of the oligarchy.
Governors responded to the pandemic by usurping the power of legislatures and other elected officials, such as the secretary of state in Nevada, to unilaterally ban public gatherings, outlaw protests, enter private residences, and fundamentally change how elections are conducted.
They also worked with tech companies to suppress political protests against their activities.
Tech companies, which command the marketplace of ideas, suppressed political scandals involving Biden, and amplified scandals involving President Trump. The administrative state and elements of the judiciary worked to undermine President Trump, obstruct his policies, and block his actions on any available pretext in a political coup of unprecedented scope and scale.
And, if that weren’t enough, the violent mobs of the Black Lives Matter racist movement, backed by corporate money and massive assistance from foundations like the Ford Foundation, terrorized entire cities and suburbs while mobilizing support for Democrats and their agenda.
The 2020 election occurred under this state of emergency, imposed not by President Trump, but by a coalition of Democrat officials, media propagandists, and tech companies with ugly results.
Even beyond the outrageous voter fraud that marked this election, there could be no better way to delegitimize a presidential election than through the combination of Democrat abuses of power, violations of civil rights, mass propaganda and censorship, and mob violence.
This is how elections are conducted in Third World countries and now in America.
We have come a long way in twenty years since Bush v. Gore. And now it’s not about hanging chads or the details of the disputed elements. It’s that no one trusts elections anymore.
Despite the outraged disdain with which the media met Republican challenges to the election, there is nothing that Republicans have alleged about the election that Democrats did not allege about the previous elections that they lost. The same narratives about voting machine hacking, illegitimately counted, marked, and destroyed ballots, and even calls for electors to reject state results were there and will be there again. But only Democrats are allowed to make them.
Because only Democrats are allowed to wield power. And since only Democrats are allowed to wield power, any election they win is legitimate and any election that they lose is illegitimate.
But the problem with breaking the system to gain power is that the system stays broken.
The Democrats justify each breach by depicting each new Republican as a unique threat to be stopped by any means necessary. That doctrine of presidential illegitimacy is now a permanent element of our political life. And delegitimizing presidents begins with delegitimizing elections.
Democrats delegitimized Bush and then Trump by attacking the legitimacy of the 2000, 2004, and 2016 elections. Is it any wonder that by 2020 no one trusts election outcomes anymore?
The Democrats have made it clear that they want absolute power and that their own legitimacy isn’t a problem because they control the distribution of information through the media and now through an alliance with tech companies that monopolize internet search and social media.
But propaganda doesn’t grant legitimacy, it destroys the public’s trust in institutions.
Public trust, unlike propaganda, isn’t selective. When enough elections are delegitimized, then no election is legitimate. And then no president elected through such means is legitimate.
When public health experts insist that Trump rallies spread the coronavirus but Black Lives Matter riots don’t, then public trust and compliance collapse. The only lasting message of double standards is that there is no standard and that all that really matters is power.
The crisis of this election was decades and generations in the making. It’s now here.
The Democrats embraced a strategy of delegitimizing elections because they don’t derive their power from the traditional political system of the country, but from subverting it. Everything they did this year and the last four years was aimed at subverting elections and voters. And if the public loses faith in elections, that will make elections that much easier to steal in the future.
Their endgame is rule by an oligarchy, by the stakeholders and representatives of identity politics victimhood groups, but not by representatives of the electorate of the states of the union.
That is the fundamental crisis of the republic. The issue is not just one stolen election, but a strategy of delegitimizing elections, shattering representative government, and replacing it with an unelected oligarchy backed by mass propaganda, censorship, and political repression.
The crisis of the republic is emerging out of the shadows of the state and we have to meet it. Its urgent question is whether ours is a government of the people or a people of the government.
Endgame is here. We are in fact an oligarchy. Our electoral outcomes are determined largely by the algorithms and the decisions of executives at Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

The second amendment and rope remain the antiseptic for this, once people see what has been done. The issue of them seeing it and being smart enough to understand it are more problematic.
[Independent Sentinel] A fiery Lin Wood said at the presser/rally in Georgia today that Governor Kemp took money from China. Wood basically called Kemp a criminal.
He said he knows about defamation. "I’ve defended clients and I am here to tell you Gov. Kemp took money from Dominion and he won’t sue me because I know what he did." Wood said Dominion is 75% owned by Chinese communists.
He claimed Trump won over 400 Electoral votes, including California. That’s not believable, but who am I to say.

I'm kind of torn between the Venezuelan voting software of the Chinese owners of the overall voting apparatus but you have to give them credit for totally hijacking our election.

Some of the testimony has been striking and it’s certainly had an affect on the people who’ve heard the hearings and on the legislators involved. We reported how Republicans in both Arizona and Pennsylvania have made moves to try to do something about pulling back the electors, after the testimony.
Today was a hearing by the Michigan Senate Oversight Committee in Lansing.
They had testimony today from some of the poll watchers and observers of the count at the TCF Center in Michigan. But there was one witness whose testimony was particularly striking because of seeing military ballots that looked all the same like they were "xeroxed," all for Joe Biden. Not only that, it got worse, she said, because they were all non-registered voters.

"Not one of the military ballots was a registered voter and the ballots looked like they were all exactly the same xerox copies of the ballot," the witness testified to the state’s Senate Oversight Committee at the Binsing Office Building in Lansing, Mich.
She continued: "They were all for Biden across the board. There wasn’t a single Trump vote. And none of the voters were registered."
She said they would enter the person’s birthdate as 1-1-20 to override the system and the fact that they weren’t in any of the poll books they had because they weren’t registered.
If true, this is absolutely crazy and maybe easily trackable given the birthdate clue. How many did this involve?
Another poll watcher spoke about the military ballots being duplicated. Notes on it said that they had been received Nov. 4 but she said they were being entered as received Nov. 2.

She said that she witnessed the military ballots being put through the tabulators multiple times. "I witnessed the military ballots being duplicated. I just thought it was strange that only Biden’s name was selected, no down ballot...and not one was for Trump."
This is of course highly problematic if true. Most military ballots are likely for Trump. But this if true, suggests not only tampering with the actual ballots but then entering them multiple times for Biden.
At the very least they need to investigate and check anything with that date to determine if the vote is legitimate and if the person actually voted that way.
Expect some Republicans in Michigan to likely follow the calls in Arizona and Pennsylvania after this.

[Red State] The consultancy’s work is under the microscope because Biden has tapped, or is considering tapping, several of its principals and advisers who have thus far refused to disclose their clients or elaborate on the precise nature of their work.
Biden is eyeing Blinken’s WestExec cofounder, the former Pentagon official Michèle Flournoy, as a potential secretary of defense. His nominee to be the intelligence chief, Avril Haines, and incoming press secretary Jen Psaki have also done work for the firm.
Founded in 2017, WestExec boasted of deploying its deep government connections on behalf of its clients, pledging to bring "the situation room to the board room," and promised first-hand knowledge and government access to clients. The firm has dabbled in an array of consulting work, some of which involves U.S. adversaries such as China and Russia.
A spokeswoman for WestExec told the Washington Free Beacon that the firm "previously offered a service targeted to U.S. research universities to help them avoid inadvertently becoming involved with the Chinese government." [Breitbart] Should former Vice President Joe Biden win the 2020 presidential election, FBI Director Christopher Wray could be left in his post if he is not removed by President Donald Trump, a new report claims.
The New York Times reports:
The official, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said Mr. Biden’s team was "not removing the F.B.I. director unless Trump fired him." Two spokesmen for Mr. Biden did not respond to a request for comment. But the decision to leave Mr. Wray in place would be a return to the norms around F.B.I. directors, who are confirmed by the Senate and are supposed to have 10-year terms, and are rarely fired. Dismissing them requires an explanation about why such an extraordinary measure would be taken.
Wray has reportedly been in President Trump’s crosshairs after the FBI did not formally investigate allegations of corruption against Hunter Biden. Wray also angered the president for testifying in September that the bureau had not witnessed widespread election fraud regarding mail-in ballots in the lead-up to the election. Wray has also claimed that though Antifa is "real," it is not an actual "organization."
"We look at Antifa as more of an ideology or a movement than an organization," Wray told the House Homeland Security Committee in September. "To be clear, we do have quite a number of properly predicated domestic terrorism investigations into violent anarchist extremists, any number of whom self identify with the Antifa movement. And that’s part of this broader group of domestic violent extremists that I’m talking about, but it’s just one part of it. We also have racially motivated violent extremists ... militia types, and others."

[PJMedia] On Tuesday, a truck driver testified that he had driven thousands of ballots from Bethpage, N.Y., to Lancaster, Pa., two weeks before Election Day.
The Democrats prepared well for what they had long since planned to do.
Phill Kline, a former attorney general of Kansas and director of The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, said The Amistad Project has corroborated the truck driver’s story.
“The evidence demonstrates, and it’s through eyewitness testimony that’s been corroborated by others by their eyewitness testimony, that 130,000 to 280,000 completed ballots for the 2020 general election were shipped from Bethpage, New York, to Lancaster, Pennsylvania,” to a facility incapable of processing them, Kline explained in the press conference. A spokeswoman later clarified that the estimate ranges from 144,000 to 288,000 ballots.
“This evidence demands investigation. This evidence demands answers,” Kline insisted. He reported that The Amistad Project is working with the FBI and U.S. attorneys in various jurisdictions to get to the bottom of the story.
Jesse Morgan, the truck driver involved, told his story at the press conference.
“I drive a tractor-trailer for U.S. postal service, a subcontractor. I drive a route route from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Bethpage, New York, to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and back to Lancaster,” he explained.
“On October 21, when I arrived for my usual route for Bethpage,” he recalled, “an expeditor made three references to ballots that were to be loaded into my trailer, including saying, ‘Hey, you have ballots today.'”
He recalled receiving 24 Gaylord boxes full of ballots, stacked on top of each other. He saw that “envelopes had handwritten return addresses.”
“They were complete ballots. I didn’t think much of it at the time,” Morgan said. When he arrived in Harrisburg, he was not allowed to offload the mail. “I was made to wait for roughly 6 hours, from 9:15 a.m. to nearly 3 p.m.,” he recalled.

Shockingly she is not the only witness who spoke like this at the hearing. An immigrant from India who is now a US citizen tore into the Democrats and another from Mexico who is now a citizen was less confrontational but firm in all things corrupt that occured. These immigrants, now US citizens were pole watchers. This is what made what many are calling yesterdays hearing amazing.
At one point a black politician called the Indian a liar. The immigrant shot back, then put me in prison if I am a liar, in so many words.
The immigrant from India spoke of how much black pole workers openly hated on white pole watchers during the election but not her because she was brown. Not only was the election vote counting fraudulant, it was anti-white in Detroit she claimed and she said India has much corruption but this was worse and she was disqusted and angry about to it.

I know a Brazilian immigrant who moved here 38 years ago, married, raised a son, started a business, and after this election is really really pissed. Immigrants from third world hell holes are especially coming out angry about this election.
When I heard Trump finally speak of wide spread fraud so convincingly, he finally sounded the way these immigrants are talking about it.

That witness, although we like the nuts and bolts of her testimony, was a pain in the a$$. She often interrupted. The politicians at the hearing (based on this video clip) were actually very civil, not like the obstreperous and uncouth slobs on Capitol Hill. I think even Giuliani told her to settle down a bit.

Malliotakis, the daughter of Greek and Cuban immigrant parents, previously ran against Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio ...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Her win ousted Rep. Max Rose, who was only the second Democrat to represent New York's 11th Congressional District in 30 years. In 2018, Rose, a veteran, had unseated Rep. Dan Donovan.
Malliotakis and Rose both released ads attacking each other as well as de Blasio, who is unpopular in the congressional district that includes Staten Island and part of Brooklyn.

He currently serves as the chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In a manner reminiscent of Joe McCarthy, on March 22, 2017, in a interview with Chuck Todd on MSNBC Schiff claimed there was “more than circumstantial evidence now” that Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia." Todd followed up by asking if he had seen direct evidence of collusion and Schiff responded that there was "evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation"... , D-Calif., once called for legislation to protect then-special counsel Robert Mueller to ensure that his Russia investigation would continue unimpeded, but now he is railing against Attorney General William Barr's appointment of a special counsel to continue investigating the FBI's actions in the early stages of that same Russia probe.
Barr recently announced that prior to November's election, he named Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham as special counsel for the investigation of the Russia probe that Durham was already leading. As a U.S. attorney, Durham is subject to being relieved of his duties when President-elect Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Failed seeker of the Democratic presidential nomination on multiple occasions, vice president under Barack Obama, giving it a last try in his dotage for 2020... takes office. His investigation could also be shut down by the next administration.
As special counsel, however, Durham would enjoy a degree of added independence, as he could only be fired by an attorney general or someone acting in that capacity.
"Barr is using the special counsel law for a purpose it was not intended: to continue a politically motivated investigation long after Barr leaves office," Schiff said in a Tuesday statement.
During Mueller's investigation, however, Schiff was eager to protect the special counsel's office at all costs to ensure Mueller could continue the Russia probe without interference.
In 2018, Schiff told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow that Congress had to "take up a bill to protect Mueller so that we don't invite a crisis."
In the end, Mueller was able to conclude the years-long investigation. It resulted in convictions unrelated to any allegations of unlawful cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russia, and failed to produce evidence to support any claims that the campaign was working with a foreign government.
Schiff was not convinced, even when the investigation was over.
"Undoubtedly there is collusion," Schiff told the Washington Post after Barr had published a summary of Mueller's report.
Schiff, who is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, went on to lead impeachment efforts against President Trump regarding allegations that he tried to withhold funds to pressure Ukraine into investigating Biden.

Mike Kelly, Sean Parnell, and other Republican plaintiffs filed an emergency injunction request with Justice Samuel Alito to stay certification of the election in Pennsylvania. They want the Supreme Court to review the state supreme court’s unanimous dismissal of their complaint against Act 77, by which they hoped to overturn the election and put the choice of electors in the hands of politicians.
It’s no surprise to see the appeal to the Supreme Court, but it’s a very adept appeal on the issues, if not the remedies. The application is too long and detailed to excerpt here, although the legal analysis of the dismissal by our RedState colleague Shipwreckedcrew predicted the challenge in detail. More interesting, though, is the endorsement they picked up overnight from Senator Ted Cruz; ...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet... . He distills the appeal down to a compelling arguments about the laches doctrine and the Catch-22 in which plaintiffs find themselves:
"In the current appeal, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court dismissed the claim based on a legal doctrine called ’laches,’ which essentially means the plaintiffs waited too long to bring the challenge. But, the plaintiffs reasonably argue that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has not applied that doctrine consistently and so they cannot selectively enforce it now.
"Even more persuasively, the plaintiffs point out that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has also held that plaintiffs don’t have standing to challenge an election law until after the election, meaning that the court effectively put them in a Catch-22: before the election, they lacked standing; after the election, they’ve delayed too long. The result of the court’s gamesmanship is that a facially unconstitutional election law can never be judicially challenged.
"Ordinarily, the U.S. Supreme Court would stay out of election disputes, especially concerning state law. But these are not ordinary times.
"As of today, according to Rooters/Ipsos polling, 39 percent of Americans believe that ’the election was rigged.’ That is not healthy for our democracy. The bitter division and acrimony we see across the nation needs resolution. And I believe the U.S. Supreme Court has a responsibility to the American people to ensure that we are following the law and following the Constitution. [THEEPOCHTIMES] Several Democrat political action committees are erecting billboards in Georgia urging Republicans not to vote in the upcoming Senate runoffs.
Really American PAC, one of the committees, has placed two versions around Georgia.
One says that Sens. David Perdue (R-Ga.) and Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) "got RICH" while "Georgians got SICK."
Another alleged the senators "didn’t deliver for" President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... . "DON’T deliver for them," it added.
The PAC said nine of the billboards went up on Monday and asked for more donations so they could put up more.
"We’re blanketing Georgia with our billboards to remind Georgians, among other things, that their Senators got rich while Georgians suffered," it said in a statement.
A second committee, the Mad Dog PAC, was sending a billboard truck to Atlanta on Tuesday, its head said. The billboard uses similar phrases as one of Really American PAC’s billboards.
Loeffler’s campaign front man Stephen Lawson told The Epoch Times via email: "Georgia Republicans aren’t fooled by Democrats’ disgustingly dirty tricks. Every Republican in this state knows the stakes of this race because it will decide the future of our country, and that’s why everyone is getting to the polls to vote for Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue."
"It’s disappointing to see an Commie super PAC come into Georgia with the sole intention of deceiving voters, but no amount of billboards will divide Georgia Republicans who know that Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue continue to stand with President Donald Trump." Abigail Sigler, a Georgia GOP spokeswoman, added.

Note that the donations go up until 2014. An awful lot of reluctant Trump voters in 2016 were active Democrats up until that point, including Donald Trump himself. Even more fervent Trump voters in 2020 were reluctant Trump voters in 2016 or even regretted having voted Democrat last time.

[GatewayPundit] Attorney Sidney Powell joined Lou Dobbs on Monday night in an explosive interview. Powell discussed the ongoing efforts to expose the massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
During their discussion Powell told Lou Dobbs that someone had removed a Dominion Voting Systems server from a recount center in Fulton County, Georgia.
"Someone went down to the Fulton center where the votes and Dominion machines were, claimed there was a software glitch and they had to replace the software, and it seems that they removed the server."
In violation of Judge Batten's Nov. 29 court order.
Powell added that her team does not know where the server is.

Councilman Andrew Cohen (D-Bronx), also on the health committee, said the city "must uphold its mandate" to ensure animal welfare.
"It is concerning that over a year later, the Council has yet to see a meaningful attempt from the Administration to comply with this law intended to specifically address and prevent these types of abuses," Cohen told The Post.
"With the establishment of a dedicated office of animal welfare, there would be a place to investigate these complaints with the authority to revoke a shelter’s license should the reports be substantiated."
Justin Brannan (D-Brooklyn), the bill’s sponsor, sent a letter to the office’s only known employee, senior community liaison Christine Kim from the city’s Community Affairs Unit, on Oct. 26 demanding more information about the agency, including a list of staff and constituent complaints the office addressed.
