[Gateway Pundit] Rioters caused over $100,000 in damages. Several conservative protesters were knocked out and beaten on the campus.
On Wednesday Republican state senators in Arizona passed legislation to seize assets from violent far left rioters. AZ Capitol Times reported:
Claiming people are being paid to riot, Republican state senators voted Wednesday to give police new power to arrest anyone who is involved in a peaceful demonstration that may turn bad -- even before anything actually happened.
SB1142 expands the state’s racketeering laws, now aimed at organized crime, to also include rioting. And it redefines what constitutes rioting to include actions that result in damage to the property of others.
But the real heart of the legislation is what Democrats say is the guilt by association -- and giving the government the right to criminally prosecute and seize the assets of everyone who planned a protest and everyone who participated. And what’s worse, said Sen. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, is that the person who may have broken a window, triggering the claim there was a riot, might actually not be a member of the group but someone from the other side.

The payments flow to Jackson because he has bipolar disorder and depressionand graspy hands and no morals — the issues that led to an extended leave from Congress in 2012 — and those conditions have been exacerbated by a "very difficult, contentious divorce" from former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson, Schatz said.
"Whatever benefits Jesse Jackson Jr. has, he earned them, and as a matter of law, he's entitled to them," the attorney said. "If the government thought he wasn't entitled to them, they wouldn't be paying them."
Jackson's workers' compensation benefits are for a temporary, total disability, the attorney said. His health is checked once a year or more, and should it improve, the benefits might change, the attorney said.
(why do I think it won't improve?)
"He's not a slacker, he's a racial grifter" said Schatz, who disclosed that the ex-congressman is on medication and "not currently able or willing to work."

I would have guessed from the title that it involved one weird trick.

My brother had bi-polar disorder for 30 years (on meds)depressed and out of work for ten years (he lived with me for 8 of those years), but he couldn't get disability.
But he didn't have a Chicago attorney and friends in the right places.

[DAILYMAIL] A Chinese-American businessman at the center of a Clinton campaign finance scandal secretly filmed a tell-all video as an 'insurance policy' - because he feared being murdered.
In footage provided exclusively to DailyMail.com, Johnny Chung spills details on how he illegally funneled money from Chinese officials to Bill Clinton's 1996 re-election bid.
The Chinese-American Clinton fundraiser recorded the 'elaborate videotaped testimony' while in hiding in 2000. He smuggled it to trusted friends and family with instructions to release it to the media in the event of his untimely death because he believed he was at risk of being assassinated.
Chung is believed to still be alive and living in China. The video was obtained by author and historian David Wead for his new book Game of Thorns, which traces Hillary Clinton's unsuccessful 2016 campaign and the Chinese government's long-running operation to buy political influence in Washington.
[PJ] WASHINGTON ‐ Congressional Democrats introduced a bill that would increase the investment gains tax by 6.2 percent for households with adjusted gross income of $250,000 and above to pay for an expansion of Social Security.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), sponsor of the Social Security Expansion Act in the Senate, said the proposed "net investment income tax" increase from 3.8 percent to 10 percent would make "millionaires and billionaires" pay more in taxes to expand Social Security and extend the life of the program. The investment gains tax originally became law as part of Obamacare.
"Everybody in this room knows that Social Security hasn’t added a nickel to the debt. It’s tax breaks for billionaires and the war in Iraq and an inflated military budget that in fact led to the high deficits and the national debt," Sanders said during a press conference on Capitol Hill last week with the organization Social Security Works.
"Starting at $250,000 and going up, the top one and a half percent will be paying more in taxes, and at a time of massive income inequality that is appropriate. And what will we do with that additional revenue? We are going to extend the life of Social Security for 61 years. How’s that? And we’re going to expand benefits, not cut them," he added.

Perhaps those with other incomes (means testing) could pay income taxes on their Social Security. Oh wait! Bill Clinton already did that, and it's never went away.
I worked hard, earned a pension, invested, made a buck or two, so I pay. He sat on his arse, drank his earnings, so he keeps all of his Social Security.

yeah, of course, if you ignore future entitlement payouts due beyond incoming SSI taxes. Like an Economic Idiot™, or a Socialist, but I repeat myself

I'm confused.
Social Security is already taxed as income, so now the Dems want to tax the capital preservation investment earnings retirees use to augment the already insufficient Social Security?
How about cutting the North Korean school lunch opium programs?

How about scrapping Social Security for a voluntary 401K instead?

There's already the Net Investment Income Tax (3.8%) on income over certain thresholds, and the additional Medicare tax (.9%) - naturally, it's not enough for the Socialists.

You do all of the risking and research, and if you make a dime, the Dims want a percentage. If you are a Dim, easy money doesn't get any easier than that.
