Government Corruption
Bidens' corrupt web unraveling before our eyes
<[NYPOST] It is said that history turns on small hinges, with the poem "For Want of a Nail" the classic example.
I'm sure Richard III would agree with that.
Another example is unfolding before our eyes. The sudden flurry of evidence and allegations about the Biden family’s money-making schemes is a direct result of the GOP winning control of the House of Representatives last year.
Change we can believe in.
The margin of midterm victory was very small — just five seats — but the impact is very large because the majority comes with subpoena power.
Meaning the worm has turned.
And aggressive new Republican committee leaders are eager and willing to use that power. After a slow start, they are producing at near-daily pace documentation of serious wrongdoing.
span style=background:#ffff99;font-family:arial,helvetica,sans;;color:MIDNIGHTBLUE;>That was being frantically hidden by the Dems and their allies.

None of this would be happening if Democrats still had control of the House.
That's why we have elections. That's why the Dems try to steal them.
The breakthroughs include testimony showing how a group of retired intelligence officials influenced the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, effectively proving the existence of a corrupt Deep State.

There are also claims from an IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
whistleblower that federal law enforcement agencies are giving favored treatment to President Biden’s son in a long-running probe and that Attorney General Merrick Garland lied to Congress about the case.
Recall he was the well-respected jurist Obama nominated for the Supremes.
The implications of these developments are enormous and while there is still much to be learned, it is possible Sherlocks are on the cusp of revealing one of the largest scandals in the history of American politics.
The reveal is coming. The opposition is trying to block it for at least long enough for the Dems to gain another majority.
The probers believe the president participated in and profited from the corrupt influence-peddling schemes while he was vice president.
I think that's pretty well established by now.
The arrows all point in that direction, with Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, head of the Oversight and Reform panel, producing bank records that show millions of dollars from China being divvied up among as many as nine Biden family members.
Getting a good price for selling out the country.
In response, the president emerged from hiding to say only, "that’s not true," without directly refuting the evidence collected by banks and subpoenaed by Congress.
"Who you gonna believe? Me or a bunch of Chinese bankers?
Meanwhile,
...back at the desert island, Bert was realizing to his horror that he'd had only one bottle for one message, and he'd forgotten to include a return address...
two Ohio Republicans, Rep. Jim Jordan, head of the Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Mike Turner, head of Intelligence, revealed a former deputy CIA director testified that Tony Blinken, then a Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. S You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
campaign adviser and now secretary of state, helped provoke the infamous 2020 letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials.
They dramatically named their opposition to Trump the Resistance®. Hezbollah uses the same moniker.
The witness, Mike Morell, said he helped organize the letter after Blinken called him about The [New York] Post’s initial laptop stories and later sent the letter to Blinken because he wanted Biden to win.
Therefore any tactics were allowable, especially dirty ones.
The letter falsely suggested the Post stories were a form of Russian disinformation.
"Typical" Russian disinformation, in fact.
It hit the media just three days before the final presidential debate, allowing Biden to cite the letter as proof the laptop stories were false.
I'm gonna keep that in mind in case I'm ever on the wrong side of the law. "Officer, I know yer radar said I was doin' seventy in a school zone, but them Russians tamper with them radars and change the results. It's disinformation, that's what it is!"
Because of the assumed credibility of the 51 signers, the letter, along with blackouts by Big Tech and Big Media of The Post’s scoops, helped save Biden from likely defeat, polls showed.
Maybe shifted the margin in Trump's favor. Many, and based on Arizona's numbers, perhaps most Dem voters don't read or watch TV because they're dead or notional.
Linking the letter to the Biden campaign is significant because the president himself had to know the laptop was legitimate because the information on it included photos of him and messages and meetings.
"That's not true!"
As a Post editorial put it, the laptop was the real thing and the intel "letter was the real disinformation."
No! Reeeeally?
So a Deep State not only exists, it meddled in and tilted a presidential election.
There's no particular head to it, so you can't just assassinate Blofeld and everything would be better. Soros will likely be dead of old age within the next ten years. The Tides Foundation may go the way of the dodo, but there will still be other million- or billionaires who buy congressmen like they buy toothpaste.
Part of that sinister force involved the many FBI former agents working at Facebook, Twitter and other tech firms, where they helped government officials censor the laptop stories and others that would have damaged Biden.

And Blinken is not the only Biden aide up to his eyeballs in dirty tricks.
He's not?
Jake Sullivan, the president’s national security adviser, worked for Crooked Hillary Clinton
...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do...
in 2016 and helped spread the Big Lie that the infamous Steele dossier was true.
The most blatant attempt to overthrow the U.S. government since Aaron Burr (and the Civil War, before you ask, wasn't about overthrowing the government, but withdrawing from it.)
The most recent GOP bombshell involves the IRS whistleblower, who approached Comer and leaders of both parties with claims the IRS and Department of Justice are giving Hunter favored treatment.
One man's whistle-blower is another man's existential threat.
By accusing Garland of giving false testimony to Congress, the whistleblower, identified by his lawyer as a "criminal supervisory special agent" who has been overseeing the case for three years, dramatically ups the ante.
He'll be fired for "poor performance."
MEDIA WAKE-UP CALL
Comer, citing what he called "the Bidens’ tangled web of complex corporate and financial records," reacted by saying: "We’ve been wondering all along where the heck the DOJ and the IRS have been. Now it appears the Biden Administration may have been working overtime to prevent the Bidens from facing any consequences."
And everyone was just so surprised.
The developments are so significant that even the media outlets that usually run a protection racket for Democrats have been forced to start doing their jobs.
"C'mon, man! Gimme a break! What a bunch of malarkey!"
All three broadcast networks covered the whistleblower’s claims, as did CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who knows what it might stand for...
, The Washington Post, The New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

and The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
"Nope, nope. Old news. Nothing to see here. Move along. And watch out for traps laid by Trump!"
These are the same outlets that largely ignored the laptop stories in 2020, even as Tony Bobulinski, a former partner of Hunter’s, authenticated key messages on the device, including one that referred to "the big guy" getting a secret 10% cut of a deal with a Chinese energy company. Bobulinski identified Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. S I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....
as the secret partner, yet most major media organizations ignored him.
"Nope. Nope. Just another lie outta Trump."
That history and a set of iron-clad double standards that always favor Democrats raise doubts about how aggressive the media handmaidens will be as new disclosures emerge.
Just a thought, but what does "fundamental change" really mean? Most of us were happy and content with things as they were. So we ended up with one party trying to add those who weren't happy and content to the system that was working, and then other party trying to tear the whole thing down because they know better. So now we've got places like Portland, and pretty much all the left coast where mobs rule and the streets are littered with shit; we've states like Illinois and New York that are openly and blatantly ruled by political machines, and money factories like Soros working diligently to spread the corruption.
Are New York and Illinois any more corrupt than they used to be?
The Times, for instance, played the whistleblower story on page 19 in Friday’s paper under the murky headline of "I.R.S. Official Is Said to Claim Political Favoritism in Hunter Biden Investigation."
On Page 19? That's where I always start reading.
By burying the story and using the phrase "Is Said to Claim" in the headline, the editors inject skepticism into a clear, credible accusation.
Kinda like being killed by an alleged gunman, huh?
The Times had the letter to Congress from the whistleblower’s lawyer, Mark Lytle, that explicitly lays out the claims and the whistleblower role in the probe, so it was disingenuous to imply there is any doubt about how specific the charges are.
The alleged driver of the getaway car then sped away.
Consider also that Lytle said the agent went to Congress only after he had already made his complaints within the IRS and to the Department of Justice. The implication is that he went to Congress because he didn’t believe either agency would act on his information.
His Performance Appraisal is gonna look like a dossier on Trump.
For the media, the emerging storylines represent a new chance to cover Biden honestly and accurately.
But at a cost to the Dem voting blocs.
After years of looking the other way and pretending there was little or nothing to see in the laptop and other evidence, they are going to find it hard to dodge the landslide of incriminating evidence likely to come.
But where are the racism claims?
Still, should news hounds, editors or producers be confused about whether to report new developments, here is a foolproof guide: They should simply ask themselves what they would write or say if the same set of charges and facts involved another president, say one named Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
.Old news. Nothing new.
That should instantly clear up their confusion.
There's always a reason.
Of course, such media fairness would require a completely new mindset, but America is long overdue for a miracle.
These are the days of the Press Wars. On the left, we have the legacy press: Pretty, stodgy, set in its ways, veterans of journalism schools who have to pick up knowledge of the world outside college as they go along, and have to fit in at their places of employment. These are the alphabet networks, the Times (L.A. or New York), the Washington Post and their hangers-on like the Philadelphia Inquirer, who get most of their news from the bigs and AP. On the right side, there are independents like the Washington Examiner and a horde of Tweeters, bloggers, and podcasters. Wire services become redundant when you don't even need a Twitter account to read the real news from the source. The fights with Musk over buying Twitter are mostly about domestic politix. The rest of the world keeps ticking along, like in Sudan.

#8  I distinctly remember CBS's Nora O'Donnell in October 2020 telling her audience that the laptop story was a right-wing conspiracy theory in a tabloid newspaper.

Mick and Keith told us about people like Nora O'Donnell,

I saw her today at the reception
In her glass was a bleeding man
She was practiced at the art of deception
Well, I could tell by her blood-stained hands

Susan Rice to depart White House
[Wash Examiner] Susan Rice, President Joe Biden's top domestic policy adviser, is departing her post.

In a statement acknowledging Rice's exit, Biden remembered how he "surprised" pundits by tapping Rice for the position overseeing domestic affairs since she is "synonymous" with foreign policy, having previously been former President Barack Obama's national security adviser and ambassador to the United Nations.

#1  Rice is Obama's agent in the WH Puppet Show management. She is a first tier minion of the actual management core of this administration based at the Kalorama Central Committee Kompound. Jill has been the caretaker and guiding hand to keep Jojo reading from the script provided, and in return enjoying the ego trip of the Potemkin Village Presidency. Increasingly, these two factions have been pulling apart, with Jill and the Biden crime family enjoying the benefits and comforts of the lifestyle, facing the ugly reality of post Presidential investigations and criminal prosecutions, and the Obama 3.0 cabal seeing the declining ability to keeping Jojo awake, on the reservation, juiced up and functional. Despite repeated hints and public displays of what could be unleashed to destroy his chances of a second term, or even remove him from office, Jill et al have been pressing forward with planned announcement of a second term run to foreshadow alternatives. Note Hunter's continuing presence in the White House and with Jojo in public events, where he is increasingly visible as a minder. (He is also encased in the Secret Service protective bubble from process servers and investigative observation.)

The sudden escalation of bad press and document drops like the Cathay Bank revelations and the unusual departure of a key administration figure, Susan Rice, with a mere one week notice, timed for next week's re-election campaign notice, is an insider's symbol that the real powers behind this administration are stepping back, and the covers are pulled for a media food fight.

Trump touts pro-life record to Iowa voters after criticism from anti-abortion group
[NYPOST] Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
, stinging from a rebuke by the nation’s leading anti-child sacrifice abortion group, used a speech Saturday before influential evangelicals in Iowa to spotlight his actions as president to try to restrict child sacrifice abortion rights.
Chief among the accomplishments Trump listed were his nominations of three conservative judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. The appointments paved the way for the overturning last year of the landmark Roe. v. Wade ruling, which had affirmed a federal right to child sacrifice abortion.

"Those justices delivered a landmark victory for protecting innocent life. Nobody thought it was going to happen," Trump said, appearing via video to a gathering of the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition. "They thought it would be another 50 years. Because Republicans had been trying to do it for exactly that period of time, 50 years."

Trump has often avoided talking about child sacrifice abortion as he campaigns again for the White House, sidestepping the issue less than a year after the court overturned Roe.

But his position that child sacrifice abortion restrictions should be left up to the states, not the federal government, drew a sharp rebuke Thursday from the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America group, which called it a "morally indefensible position for a self-proclaimed pro-life presidential candidate."

Trump didn’t take a stance Saturday on a national ban. Instead, he ticked through a record as president that aimed to satisfy child sacrifice abortion opponents that form the core of evangelical Christians, who hold sway in the GOP primary contest and particularly Iowa’s first-in-the-nation Republican caucuses.

Trump won applause noting he was the first president to attend the annual March for Life child sacrifice abortion opposition rally.
