Government Corruption
A deep dive into 'Twitter Files 8'
See also here.
[American Thinker] So far, Elon Musk’s Twitter Files series has revealed details of collusion between the former Twitter regime and U.S. government agencies.

These groups worked closely to distort the discourse leading to the 2020 presidential elections using a variety of tools.

Yesterday Musk released the eighth installment of the series.

In this edition, journalist Lee Fang revealed how Twitter secretly waged the Pentagon’s covert online PsyOp campaign which is contrary to the public claims made by the former Twitter regime.

Skipping down:

When the WaPo reported on the scandal, Twitter officials congratulated each other because the story didn’t mention them, but instead focused on the Pentagon.
Emphasis added.

Courtesy of Skidmark, the Daily Mail’s take:
Twitter colluded with Pentagon to run network of fake accounts around the world – including AI-created deep fakes – despite publicly claiming to delete government backed propaganda

#2  Everybody knew the phone company let the gummint listen any time they wanted, but there was at least the fig leaf of paperwork signed off by a judge.

Now it's all sub rosa, ad hoc and off the radar.

#4  "Twitter officials congratulated each other because the story didn’t mention them, but instead focused on the Pentagon."

And the Pentagon folks gave the twitter officials high fives, and a sly wink to L.Fang because despite the focus on the Pentagon, no names from the Pentagon's PsyOp Team were disclosed to the public.

There's a part of me that feels strongly this is sleight of hand to repair twitter trust in anticipation of the 2024 election cycle in which twitter will again cooperate w/ deep state to run influence operations. I dont want to believe, but... we will see.

Watchdogs Press Congress to Axe Taxpayer Funding for Chinese Lab at Center of COVID Pandemic
[Free Beacon] Watchdog groups are pressuring Congress to stop awarding taxpayer funds to foreign labs, including the controversial Chinese institute at the center of the coronavirus pandemic.

With Congress approving a temporary spending package to keep the federal government operating throughout the end of the year, several watchdog groups are concerned that taxpayer funds will be allocated to a range of foreign labs via the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The most notable U.S.-funded lab is the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a Chinese Communist Party-controlled entity that is suspected of conducting research that led to the coronavirus outbreak.

"Foreign government-controlled laboratories should not be eligible to receive U.S. taxpayer dollars while they disregard our policies, dodge congressional oversight, or act against our national interest," seven watchdog organizations led by the White Coat Waste Project wrote in a letter sent Friday to lawmakers on the House and Senate appropriations committees.

"The National Institutes of Health, with little accountability to Congress or the [Biden] administration, continues to authorize funding for animal experimentation laboratories directly controlled by foreign adversaries that act contrary to the national interest of the United States," the groups wrote.

While some in Congress—like Reps. Lisa McClain (R., Mich.), Nancy Mace (R., S.C.), and some of their Republican colleagues—are casting a critical eye on the foreign-funded labs, NIH is pushing for taxpayer funding and defending the work carried out by some of the United States’ top enemies.

NIH officials, the groups write, "are actively monitoring and pushing back against congressional efforts to defund risky gain-of-function experiments in China, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology." This type of research, which boosts a virus’s lethality for research purposes, is believed to have laid the foundation for the coronavirus that eventually spilled into the general population. A Republican investigative body determined in October that the most likely cause of the pandemic was a lab leak, potentially from the Wuhan institute.

Currently, NIH is permitted to fund labs operating in "foreign adversary nations" like Russia and China, according to the watchdog groups. U.S.-funded labs in Russia, for instance, are under congressional scrutiny for conducting "horrific and barbaric" experiments on animals that include cutting out portions of their brains.

Though the war in Ukraine has increased pressure on NIH to end its partnerships with these labs, the federal agency has leeway in how taxpayer funds are spent. The Biden administration said in June that it wants to cut U.S. funding for Russian labs, but NIH will not say if it will comply with this request.

Remember, it all boils down to.

They did it and tried to hide it.

But we, as taxpayers, paid, for it.

All while making the Elitists even more filthy rich

All while too many blindly relinquished their rights and granted them even more control of their personal lives in the process. Thus kinda setting a new type Social Political Caste system

With them declaring those that would obey their mandates, the new Dalits class.

The U.S. Education Department's civil rights enforcement arm has launched an investigation into a North Texas school district
[NBCnews] Education and legal experts say the federal probe of the Granbury Independent School District — which stemmed from a complaint by the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas and reporting by NBC News, ProPublica and The Texas Tribune — appears to be the first such investigation explicitly tied to the nationwide movement to ban school library books dealing with sexuality and gender.

The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights notified Granbury school officials on Dec. 6 that it had opened the investigation following a July complaint by the ACLU, which accused the district of violating a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender. The ACLU complaint was based largely on an investigation published in March by NBC News, ProPublica and the Tribune that revealed that Granbury’s superintendent, Jeremy Glenn, instructed librarians to remove books dealing with sexual orientation and people who are transgender.

"I acknowledge that there are men that think they’re women and there are women that think they’re men," Glenn told librarians in January, according to a leaked recording of the meeting obtained, verified and published exclusively by the news outlets. "I don’t have any issues with what people want to believe, but there’s no place for it in our libraries."

Later in the meeting, Glenn clarified that he was specifically focused on removing books geared toward queer students: "It’s the transgender, LGBTQ and the sex — sexuality — in books," he said, according to the recording.

The comments, combined with the district’s subsequent decision to remove dozens of library books pending a review, fostered a "pervasively hostile" environment for LGBTQ students, the ACLU wrote in its complaint. Chloe Kempf, an ACLU attorney, said the Education Department’s decision to open the investigation into Granbury ISD signals that the agency is concerned about what she described as "a wave" of anti-LGBTQ policies and book removals nationally.

#2  North Texas is being attacked by an office of the government that previously I had no idea existed. It sounds as if it is more truly the Office of Jamming Woke Policy Everywhere in School. I am sure that we now are funding similar offices in every iteration of the federal government. Those offices are likely metastasizing like Dollar Generals. The government needs a thorough course of radiation and chemo along with an exorcism. A near term goal ought to be to turn all those offices into cubicles.

Elon Musk tweets that America has 'been harmed by having' this Democrat 'as a senator'
[The Blaze] Billionaire business magnate Elon Musk has suggested that America has "been harmed by having" Elizabeth Warren serve as a U.S. senator.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla, made the comment in response to news that the Democratic lawmaker from Massachusetts sent a letter to Tesla board chair Dr. Robyn Denholm, pressing her about how Musk's acquisition of Twitter and work running the social media platform is impacting the electric car maker.

"Mr. Musk's acquisition of Twitter and his simultaneous management of both Twitter and Tesla raise significant legal questions about conflicts of interest, compliance with labor laws, and misappropriation of corporate resources. As you know, it is the legal obligation of Tesla’s Board to ensure that its CEO is meeting all his legal responsibilities and serving as an effective leader. I am writing you so that I can better understand how you are dealing with these challenging circumstances so that I can evaluate current laws and current law enforcement in this area," Warren wrote in the letter.

It seems that actual Freedom of Speech, which allows everyone the ability to present civil opposing opinions and factual data, is just too much for the LSD's / DC Swamp Elite to handle.

The Question Now Is :
Are we already in a count-down for the usual DC Swamp arranged "accident" ?

Incoming GOP House Rep Apparently Fabricated His Life Story
[ZERO] Incoming Republican New York Congressman George Santos appears to have presented voters and the public at large with a personal history that's positively riddled with falsehoods, according to a damning exposé from The New York Times.

For starters, Santos claimed that he earned degrees in economics and finance from Baruch College and New York University. However, when the Times inquired, neither school was able to locate any record of this attendance.

After securing his degrees, he supposedly became "an associate asset manager" in Citigroup's real estate division, according to a biography on his campaign website. A Citi spokeswoman not only told the Times that Citi couldn't confirm he'd worked there, but that his claimed job title wasn't familiar either -- and Citi sold its asset management division in 2005.

His shiny campaign resumé also included a claimed stint at Goldman Sachs. If you've picked up on the pattern, you've already guessed -- correctly -- that Goldman Sachs couldn't find any record of his employment.

Santos said he was the founder and leader of "Friends of Pets United," a supposed tax-exempt organization. While the Times found some traces of the organization on Facebook, the IRS found no indication it held tax-exempt status, and neither New York nor New Jersey officials could find records of such a registered charity.

It just keeps gets better: Friends of Pets United held a joint $50-a-head fundraiser, but the event's beneficiary says she never received a dime -- just excuses from Santos on why the money wasn't coming through.

During the same period as the purported pet philanthropy, Santos was the subject of an eviction suit, where was accused of owing $2,250 in rent. Two years later -- in 2017 -- he was again the target of an eviction claim, this time allegedly owing more than $10,000. Eviction was ordered, and Santos was fined more than $12,000.

#3  He sounds like he may be an upgrade over my actual Congressman. I like the fact that he doesn’t take no for an answer. Instead he just totally fabricates a yes condition. Based on that alone he ought to be up for the chairmanship of several committees. I can see him getting bi-partisan support to chair Ethics from jump street.

#4  George’s grandparents fled Jewish persecution in Ukraine, settled in Belgium, and again fled persecution during WWII. They were able to settle in Brazil, where his mother was born. His father, who comes from Angolan roots, was also born in Brazil. Both his mother and father legally immigrated to the United States in search of the American dream, where they began their new lives on the foundations of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

#12  From his Wikipedia Article:
" He has described himself at various points as a nonobservant Jew and as a Catholic.[1] The Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reported in December 2022 that regarding Santos's Jewish background, "there's little to suggest truth beyond his own past comments"; while Santos has said that he shares his "mother's Jewish background beliefs", the JTA reported that his mother's online obituary had no reference to "any Jewish background", and that his mother's first name and surname, Fatima Devolder, commonly have Catholic origins.[26][c]"

Phew! Even though he claims to be one of ours, I guess he ain't.
