The facial recognition ban is to prevent local cops with an extensive intel collection of radical suspects amassed over the years from being shared with feds or local LEOs cross deputised as feds. Without being able to access this data the feds have a more complex time making positive ID and getting background for connectivity charting for Order of Battle development. The enemy is in the city government in depth.

I'm curious as to what legal theory allows you to ban software.
Currently, the 5th circuit appellate ruled you can't ban a download of a 3D print gun. We'll see if the state pushes for a full court ruling or goes straight for the supreme court. I would argue software is a free speech issue and can't be banned.
[Newsweek... yes, Newsweek] Upon arrival in Michigan on Wednesday, Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden was greeted by supporters of President Donald Trump, who chanted "four more years."
In several videos posted to Twitter, Biden and his police escort can be seen arriving in the Detroit suburb of Warren, while a crowd of Trump supporters stands nearby.
"Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!" the crowd can be heard yelling towards Biden and his escort. Several supporters can also be seen holding up Trump campaign signs as well as American flags.
[Big League Politics] Durham is dropping the ball.
Trump supporters are waiting with baited breath for U.S. Attorney John Durham to come out with his explosive findings in regards to his investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion probe against President Trump.
According to Judicial Watch founder Tom Fitton, Trump supporters are getting taken for a ride. Fitton said during a recent appearance on Fox Business’ "Lou Dobbs Tonight" that Barr and Durham are making no progress on investigating what very well may be the worst criminal conspiracy in U.S. history.
"You know, my concern is it’s been, what, sixteen-plus months since Durham was appointed and only now is he questioning Mr. Brennan," Fitton said.
And from Real Clear Investigations:
Justice Department policy prohibits prosecutors from taking overt steps in politically charged cases typically within 60 days of an election. Accordingly, Durham would have to make a move by the Friday before Labor Day, or Sept. 4.

/\ Yes, a very prolonged Kabubi at that, and Ghislaine Maxwell's depositions will likely remained sealed as well. Deep State people involved. The multi-tiered judicial system forbids it. These scoundrels will never see the inside of Marion or Terra Haute.
Off the Greek coast in the Ionian lies the lovely island of Corfu, home of the famous British Writer Gerald Durrell. The pickpockets of Corfu may be arrested and spend an afternoon, or even an over-nighter in jail. Few will ever see prison on the mainland. Everyone knows everyone. He's Peter's son, we all know he is a good boy. The visiting tourists are uitlanders (outsiders), fair game. Please have another ouzo and shut up about it.
