Is that even legal? Who makes the decision, the Governor? I cannot imagine why she would even want it. Also, someone needs to clue these people into the fact that it isn't HIS seat. The seat belongs to the people of Arizona.

It's very difficult to defeat an incumbent, even one like Cindy McCain who was appointed rather than elected. She'll have the name recognition and campaign contributions from the oligarchy. So yeah, the Duke of Arizona will pass his wealth and power to the Duchess.
