...trip has angered locals in Roseburg who say Obama is 'not welcome' in the town because the visit will be nothing but a 'grandstand for political purposes'.
Some people are finally seeing that is all Obumble is. Someone who stirs the pot for his own political gain. Or a "community organizer".

This visit might sound like a good idea to Obama. That's because he has no shame, no conscience, no soul. He thinks on an intellectual level that this will show he cares. He is so arrogant and so lacking in genuine compassion it doesn't occur to him that the rubes can see he is only using this incident and the grieving victims to promote his own political agenda. If he had any real human beings on his staff who were not afraid to speak they might have pointed it out to him but no such luck. He may have outsmarted himself this time.
[France24] VIĂA DEL MAR (CHILE) (AFP) - The United States and its former Cold War foe Cuba are discussing a joint maritime reserve in waters between their countries, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday.
That's because we don't want anyone drilling for oil in U.S. waters, and we're a bunch of gringo imperialists, so we don't want anyone drilling in Cuban waters, either...
Kerry was in Chile for the "Our Ocean" conference, where several countries and foundations announced new efforts to preserve the marine environment and fisheries.
The United States had already unveiled two new marine reserves on its own territory at the conference, and Kerry revealed that another may be the fruit of the US rapprochement with Cuba.
"We are also working to finalize a new sister marine protected area arrangement with Cuba to connect protected sides in our two countries, so we can better collaborate on scientific research, education, and sound management," he said.
Kerry did not give details on where the reserve would be, but there are barely 90 miles (145 kilometers) of shallow tropical waters between Cuba's northern shore and the US state of Florida.
Talks on the reserve will form part of the ongoing process of renewing Cuban and US ties, which were cut off five decades ago at the height of the Cold War and only restored in July.
Kerry said he hoped to visit Cuba in late January to pursue the dialogue. Cuban reparations by another name.
Some brag about battling bonefish,
Or perilous, poisonous stonefish.
Both difficult matches,
But batten the hatches --
The toughest to catch is the thronefish.
[Kanuk Free Press] Blue Helmet United Nations personnel will be replacing municipal police forces whose ranks have been harassed and hollowed out over the last year by Obama activists in groups like #BlackLivesMatter.
Marxism always moves in to fill the vacuum left behind by anarchy.
Like all things named by the UN, the 'Strong Cities Network' (SCN) sounds benign and good for society, a society distracted from what is really going on by their own self-serving governments.
The Strong Cities Network is being launched in a day when millions of illegal aliens are flooding American borders while the Obama administration looks the other way. SCN makes its debut at a time when the public at large is forbidden to identify Islamic terrorists as Islamic terrorists; when citizens who dare to stand up for individual rights are automatically branded as dissenters who must be cowed into silence.
The project, introduced out of the proverbial blue at United Nations headquarters on Wednesday by Attorney General Loretta Lynch, is touted as the launch of a strong cities network "to Strengthen Community Resilience Against Violent Extremism".
With no public input, no Congress debate or vote, it will be blue helmets and not local cops who will be policing the streets of America, in an initiative underway before its launch date. If you believe, as I did, that this is an article taken from The Onion, please visit the DoJ website.

Yes, I did think it was from the Onion or was a SNL skit. The UN and the folks and their ilk who are advocating ceding our sovereignty to the UN need to be tossed out of office ASAP or impeached for not defending our Constitution--enemies domestic and foreign. Part of the NWO rubbish.

Rick: Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade
How ironic that the BLM crowd, having declared the local cops an occupying army, are getting a real occupying army. But if we call it "countering violent extremism" like the DoJ does, it's all good, bro!
I would have guessed DuffleBlog or Inf*Wars, but once again, we can no longer tell crazy stuff that somebody made up from crazy stuff that is actually happening.

Let's see the Blue Heads policing somewhere like Istanbul or Cairo or Caracas. If that turns out well for a year or two than maybe we can talk about moving on to Buenas Aries or Port au Prince.........scratch that, they tried there and failed dismally.

The SCN will connect cities, city-level practitioners and the communities they represent through a series of workshops, trainings and sustained city partnerships. Network participants will also contribute to and benefit from an online repository of municipal-level good practices and web-based training modules and will be eligible for grants supporting innovative, local initiatives and strategies that will contribute to building social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.
Ah, yes. Four star hotels, strike that, five star hotels, cocktail parties, fine dining, limousines, exquisite escorts and $600 million dollar websites that don't work.
