In the world of criminals making things all too easy for the cops, a brave new trend-setter has emerged in the form of a woman calling the police to report that her marijuana stash was tampered with.
The unidentified 38-year-old woman from Oak Park, Michigan, called the police November 16 with concerns that the pot she was smoking had other chemicals.
Lt. Mike Pousak of the Oak Park police said, When our officers got to the house she told them she believed the marijuana she had been smoking was laced with something other than marijuana.
According to authorities, the womans daughter also said that her mother was becoming suspicious that her house had demons in it.
At that point, I think most people would decide to stop smoking that stuff and join a health club.
On the positive side, the weed was sent away for testing, so the woman got her way. Thus far, tests have confirmed that it is indeed marijuana.
But answering the question about whether other drug users might like to take advantage of the cops helpful Pot Checking While U Wait service, Lt. Poulak suggested, Not unless they want to be charged. The woman is now facing a possession-of-marijuana charge. Almost as sharp as a bowling ball.
You'll be sorry you scoffed when she's carried off by demons.

Police: Bloody Brawl Sparked Over Bathroom Hygiene
FORT WORTH, Texas -- A bloody brawl erupted outside a tavern after one customer thought another failed to wash his hands after using the bathroom, according to police. One man was hospitalized with stab wounds. Another was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to a police report, the fight broke out Thursday after Eric Jennings Kisiah, 27, became upset about a customer's apparent hygiene failure at the Tumbleweeds Sports Bar. Witnesses told police Kisiah confronted the customer and two of his friends, calling them names, telling them they were dirty and threatening to "slash their throats."
Kisiah then hid near a shrub outside the bar and charged the group as they left, the police report said.

One of the men, 25-year-old Morgan Jackson, was stabbed four times, police said. He was listed in good condition after surgery.
Kisiah was jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail. Mansfield Jail officials declined to let a reporter speak with Kisiah or say whether he had an attorney. A call to the bar Friday went unanswered. Kisiah. Nice Texan name, doncha think?

CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - A top anti-addiction official in the western Canadian province of Alberta skimmed nearly half a million dollars from his employer to feed his own gambling habit, the province's top auditor said on Friday.
Auditor General Fred Dunn alleged in a report that Lloyd Carr, who ran the tobacco-reduction unit of the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission, used five false contracts to scam C$441,298 ($390,000) from the government agency, which funds programs and treatment services for alcohol, drug and gambling addictions.
The auditor's report said Carr, who could not be reached for comment, had admitted to misappropriating the funds and using part of the cash to put a downpayment on a house, pay household expenses and repay a vehicle loan. About C$116,000 was said to have been withdrawn from automatic teller machines in casinos.
Carr was fired in September. Criminal charges have not been filed, although police have been notified.

British Airways backed down over its ban on workers wearing the cross after a hurricane of criticism. Airline chief Willie Walsh ordered a rethink of the rule that barred check-in worker Nadia Eweida from wearing a tiny cross at work.
The airline had faced four days of angry condemnation from an overwhelming alliance of Cabinet ministers, 100 MPs, 20 Church of England bishops and, finally, the Archbishop of Canterbury. The president spoke with two members each from the Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and Navy, said White House spokeswoman Jeanie Mamo. He asked them to send greetings to their parents.
The calls went to service members stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Qatar, Alaska, and California.

Aisha had not been administered the anti-polio vaccine.
Aisha, an eight-month-old child from Bacha Mina, was the most recent victim who lost one of her left limbs to the disease. According to the head of the NWFP polio team, Dr Abdur Raza, test reports have confirmed that the child was infected with polio. He said the new case might have surfaced due to increased interaction between the people of Bacha Mina and those of Afghanistan. He claimed that Aisha had not been administered the anti-polio vaccine.

It took 12 surgeons, six operating rooms and five donors to pull it off, but five desperate strangers simultaneously received new organs in what hospital officials Monday described as the first-ever quintuple kidney transplant.
All five recipients - three men and two women - were doing fine, as were the five organ donors, all women, said Eric Vohr, a spokesman at the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Transplant Center. The 10 participants came from Canada, Maine, Maryland, West Virginia, Florida and California.
Several triple transplants have been done at Johns Hopkins, but hospital officials said the five simultaneous transplants performed last Tuesday were a first.
Four of the sick patients had approached Johns Hopkins with a relative who was willing to donate a kidney but was an incompatible donor. The fifth patient had been on a waiting list for a kidney from a dead person. Together, those nine people and an "altruistic donor" - someone willing to give a kidney to anyone who needed it - had enough matched kidneys among them to pull off a complex, five-way swap.
