[The Hill] The aggressive posture of the FBI under Director James Comey is becoming a political problem for the White House.
The FBI’s demand that Apple help unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino killers has outraged Silicon Valley, a significant source of political support for President Obama and Democrats.
Comey, meanwhile, has stirred tensions by linking rising violent crime rates to the Black Lives Matter movement’s focus on police violence and by warning about "gaps" in the screening process for Syrian refugees.
Then there’s the biggest issue of all: the FBI’s investigation into the private email server used by Hillary Clinton, Obama’s former secretary of State and the leading contender to win the Democratic presidential nomination.
He doesn't really have "tenure" like a SC judge. The appointment has to be revisited every 10 years at least, and the president can pull him before then. The problem is that Congress has to approve a replacement . . . .

Well here it is. I remember the Kennedy's and this is Oh so familiar. I never voted for Kennedy because I never trusted him. We have a new Camelot in the making. Beautiful family and so many positive things to say. I recognize this power. This could bring back this country in a big way. To myself this is clear and obvious. Dark forces will attempt to stop him as with Kennedy. I hope he has good security that can be trusted. They always said O would be taken out. Not from the right. It is always the left and communists who are most prone towards political violence.

Welcome to Camelot - just dont dare protest or you get sucker punched. What say you about this dale - what justifies a sucker punch on a protester who was being escorted out? Is this the sort of thuggery you Trumpies do? BLM is a bunch af jerks, yes, but why give them free publicity? Why turn to violence? Explain THAT Dale.
There is a very ugly undercurrent to part of the Trump support, its racist, antisemetic, and tends toward threats and violence. The Republic does not need that sort of thing, much less the Republican party. Crap like this is why Trump is losing some of the 60% of the GOP who voted for someone else once the general election gets here, if he is the candidate. Character counts - and Trump is seriously lacking it based on his life and his words and those who flock to him.

From Sean Davis, a very conservative, anti-establishment writer at the federalist: The Trump campaign is basically like all other totalitarian movements: It’s not about any policy in particular, it’s about allowing losers to feel like they are winners. That’s why Trump’s message is specifically tailored to people who internally know they are losers, and why it repeatedly promises that if they follow Trump, he will take them to a land where they will get revenge on the “elites” and foreigners who have kept them down.
Seems pretty close to the mark.

Its also Trump staffers - Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski manhandled Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields the other day.
Lewandowski acknowledged to Breitbart’s Washington political editor, Matthew Boyle, that he did manhandle Fields. Lewandowski’s explanation to Boyle, said these sources, was that he and Fields had never met before and that he didn’t recognize her as a Breitbart reporter, instead mistaking her for an adversarial member of the mainstream media.
So its OK to manhandle a woman in the press if you believe she's not friendly to your candidate? What kind of people is Trump hiring? I guess in Camelot, they manhandle reporters they dont know and are afraid might ask hard questions.

If you're going to have people posting campaign agitprop like the article here, then expect a response. And please have the courage to allow adversarial voices. Some of us responding defended this nation and the Constitution, and will not sit silently while rubes back a potential threat to what freedoms we have left.
Camelot, nearly the complete opposite. The use of that metaphor serves to show the level of self delusion the Trump followers are inflicting on themsleves and would inflict on us. Just like the Obama followers did, feeling instead of thinking. And you see what that got us. This nation has lost its mind if it sees Trump as anything more than what he is (liar, demagogue, authoritarian), or Hillary for anything more than what she is (criminal, liar, opportunist), and, incredibly, that socialist is actually seriously considered after so much time treasure and lives were spend depositing it on the ash heap of history. Thank you GOPe for throwing away what we had left of a republic.

This is the same stuff I get from the liberal Democrats. They and the especially the women still adore O. We will see. Many on both sides didn't like Regan either. My contacts in Europe have the same tone as here. You are in for an historic event. Many will coast on by and say what was that?. The future has a way of doing that.

Dale, care to respond to the allegations instead of spouting addled nonsense typical of a True Believer? And FYI, that is not liberal or Dem or Establishment that are saying that. Its conservatives. Consider that. Consider you are lining up with Planned Parenthood supporting, big government, eminent domain abusing, tax and spend, immigration visa abusing, deal making, wall street banker supporting, Hillary Clinton backing (campaign and foundation), Democrat Party backing candidate.

To any of you dismissing this and supporting Trump, do yourselves a favor; Address the authoritarianism implicit in the war crime orders. Or perhaps the recent physical battery on the press by Trumps campaign manager. Or here is a simple one:
Explain HOW that wall gets built. Without the magical thinking and handwaving "oh He will do a deal".
Without Congress funding it, it goes nowhere. Mexico to pay for it, How? Tarrifs? Have you no sense of history, read up on Smoot Hawley and how tariff wars wrecked the economy and ushered in the depression.
Do you support "governing" by bypassing Congress with more Obama-style Rule By Decree executive orders, as long as they are ones you agree with? See the problem inherent in supporting Trump for what it is, he is an authoritarian with no real plans, and nothing more than a "make the bastards pay" campaign. Its nearly the flip side of "Hope and Change"

I am an eternal optimist. I spoke with a well educated young man who always lorded over others. His superior intellect and so on. Reminded everyone that he was better educated and had one semester to get his masters degree. Currently he works a forklift in a warehouse at his new job. Provided he can do the work but I think he will be too busy explaining how things are to be done. So words are only good to a point. The plague was recognized after the fact when fully involved. I am saying this is a possible future that Trump has stumbled upon. The man of our times perhaps with all his imperfections.
To those downriver, brace yourselves; Kansas wasn't considered contested or important, still grew quite tired of it.
I was polite to the nice young lady I hung up on after she asked me to pay for her college despite her not being able to use a phone and a script at the same time.

People, let's take a moment to take Trump seriously. He is quite likely to win and be the next President. Yet his persona upsets people. How can that be?
Because people vote for him. Think about why they do that. And it is not about the past -- what they did or he did -- it is about the future. Ask yourself, how are these candidates' future actions are going to affect you.
Every other candidate is promising to cut spending, raise taxes, regulate business, cut programs, and/or disrupt your community.
Trump is just saying things are going to be great.
If we have debased our educational system and/or our economy to the point that this is persuasive then this is what we are going to get. Either from Trump or the next guy that says the same thing more persuasively.
A man is measured by his enemies
Half of the Washington political class is vowing to vote for Hillary -- even Stalin! -- over Trump; psychologists (and massage therapists) report they are treating patients for "Trump anxiety"; lengthy thought-pieces on Trump have no room to mention his signature issue, immigration, but get prolix on George Wallace, Mussolini and Hitler. (Never Mao, Stalin or Lenin, curiously.)
You’re going to have to act quickly if you hope to be among the first 200 princesses to feel the pea under 15 layers of mattresses.

So does this mean Annie's gonna vote as Maddie Albright suggested - for the woman?

Isn't Ms Coulter clever? How bout some other comparisons shall we?
-Bernie Sanders supports a Progressive income tax with an increased rate on the rich. DT once supported a Progressive income tax with 14.25% increase on the wealthy.
-Nancy Pelosi is dead set against any form of entitlement reform. DT has vowed not to touch Social Security or Medicare.
-Elizabeth Warren supports univeral Health Care. DT once supported univeral Health Care.
-Barak Obama supported an invidual mandate to fund Health care. DT once supported an invidual mandate to fund Health care.
-Michael Bloomberg calls for a longer waiting period to purchase firearms. DT once called for a longer waiting period to purchase firearms.
-Diane Feinstein wants a ban on so-called Assuault rifles. DT once supported a ban Assuault rifles.
-Hillary Clinton helped craft a "lead from behind" foriegn policy. DT believe Ukraine should handle their own affairs and Assad should take out IS.
-Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is Pro-abortion and supports Planned Parenthood. DT Pro-abortion and supports Planned Parenthood.
-Charles Schummer is a registerd Democrat. DT once was a registerd Democrat.
-Hillary Clinton attended DT's wedding and has raised huge sums of money for her political elections. DT attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding and has donated large sums of money for Hillary's political elections.
An Coulter used to be Fire-Breather against anyone who even smelled like a Rhino. Now she's just a fraud.
