[Sky News] A major leak containing a register with the details of nearly two million CCP members has occurred — exposing members who are now working all over the world, while also lifting the lid on how the party operates under Xi Jinping, says Sharri Markson.
Ms Markson said the leak is a register with the details of Communist Party members, including their names, party position, birthday, national ID number and ethnicity.
"It is believed to be the first leak of its kind in the world," the Sky News host said.
"What's amazing about this database is not just that it exposes people who are members of the communist party, and who are now living and working all over the world, from Australia to the US to the UK," Ms Markson said.
"But it's amazing because it lifts the lid on how the party operates under President and Chairman Xi Jinping".
Ms Markson said the leak demonstrates party branches are embedded in some of the world’s biggest companies and even inside government agencies.
"Communist party branches have been set up inside western companies, allowing the infiltration of those companies by CCP members - who, if called on, are answerable directly to the communist party, to the Chairman, the president himself," she said.
"Along with the personal identifying details of 1.95 million communist party members, mostly from Shanghai, there are also the details of 79,000 communist party branches, many of them inside companies".
Ms Markson said the leak is a significant security breach likely to embarrass Xi Jinping.
"It is also going to embarrass some global companies who appear to have no plan in place to protect their intellectual property from theft. From economic espionage," she said.
Ms Markson said the data was extracted from a Shanghai server by Chinese dissidents, whistleblowers, in April 2016,
...four and a half years is a long time to keep a secret...
who have been using it for counter-intelligence purposes.
"It was then leaked in mid-September to the newly-formed international bi-partisan group, the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China - and that group is made up of 150 legislators around the world.
..they don’t appear to be in our archives. Their website is here, and the two American politicians on their board are Sen. Marco Rubio (R) and Sen. Bob Menendez (D)...
"It was then provided to an international consortium of four media organisations, The Australian, The Sunday Mail in the UK, De Standaard in Belgium and a Swedish editor, to analyse over the past two months, and that's what we've done".
No American media orgs are mentioned — just imagine what The Epoch Times could have done with it!
Ms Markson said it, "is worth noting that there's no suggestion that these members have committed espionage - but the concern is over whether Australia or these companies knew of the CCP members and if so have any steps been taken to protect their data and people".
[IsraelTimes] Austria’s interior minister says the weapons captured during raids were to be used to ’establish a far-right network’ in Germany.
Austrian police seized automatic weapons, explosives and narcotics during raids on neo-Nazi ...adherents of a philosophy that was seen even at the time as pure evil, which makes them either consciously and purely evil, or attention-seeking ratbags. Pick one, or both.... sympathizers, and arrested several of them, the government said Saturday.
German police in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia states also arrested two suspects in connection with the operation.
The weapons were to be used to "establish a far-right network" in Germany, Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer told a news conference in Vienna.
Five men aged 21 to 53 with links to neo-Nazi groups were arrested in Austria, and were "unfortunately known for a while already" in the country, Nehammer said.
In October, Austrian Sherlocks began to track drug deliveries from Germany and discovered that the profits were being used to buy arms.
A series of searches uncovered 100,000 rounds of ammunition, 100 firearms, explosives that included hand grenades, narcotics and cash, a Viennese police statement said.
Investigators also recovered items issued by the World War II German army, the Wehrmact.
[JP] Israel-based Gamida Cell Ltd. announced this week that its phase III study of Omidubicel had met all of its primary and secondary goals regarding key clinical measures in bone marrow transplants. The company also announced that it is prepared with a commercial model for Omidubicel that will include a support system for patients and families called Gamida Cell Assist.
The primary goal that was met in the third phase of the trial was estimating the time from transplant of Omidubcel to the reception of neutrophils, a type of blood cell that leads the body's immune system's response. The amount of time was 12 days compared to 22 days in the control group.
Additionally, the trial met all of its secondary goals. Of patients treated with the Omidubcels, 37% developed infections that were moderate or severe compared to 57% of the control group in the 100 days following transplant. Omidubcel recipients spent 60.5 days out of the hospital in the 100 days following treatment compared to 48 days in the control group.
Something to look into, dear Reader, if you or someone you know might benefit from this.
[WashingtonExaminer] A company aiming to help alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder is hoping to roll out a therapeutic platform, developed by a son for his father, that promises to provide veterans a good night’s sleep.
NightWare, a medical device company, over the next two months, seeks approval from the Veteran Affairs and Defense departments for its "kits" that essentially arouse a sleeping soldier from a PTSD-induced nightmare.
And hopefully after the VA and DOD approve it, other health insurance plans will, too.
"What it does is it interrupts the nightmare," Matthew Tucker, the company’s chief commercial officer, told the Washington Examiner.

My dog would start barking whenever I started slipping into nightmare. She died, but taught my Chihuahua to do the same. He died and my present dog leaves the room.
[The Drive] Averaging 145 miles per hour, the Italian State Police delivered a donor kidney last week from Rome to Padua—a journey of more than 300 miles—in around two hours. The Lamborghini Huracan they used, which was specially modified for such tasks with a refrigerated frunk, was obtained by the Italian police back in 2017. Speedy organ delivery isn't its only job, though. In fact, it's a regular patrol vehicle for the department with lights, a police computer and other equipment necessary to perform traffic stops and arrests. Luckily for other speeders, it was too busy flying down the road for officers to check their radar guns.
The Italian State Police posted a video on Twitter after the delivery was complete. It's somewhat bizarre to see a Lamborghini Huracan, exhaust popping and V10 screaming, flashing police lights and speeding down the highway, but that's Italy for you. The police's tweet also thanked the Ministry of Health, the National Transplant Center and, of course, Lamborghini.

Passing speed on the Autobahn
Only if the driver behind one in the left lane is not going faster, as they so often do. If they are, then move to the right to get out of the way, because they brake an inch behind the bumper of the slower car. It was an interesting learning experience, back when 120 kph was the minimum speed, not the maximum for much of the country.
My little second hand BMW 318 was not happy above 130 kph. But the 500 series, and the analogous 400 series Mercedes, had a cruising speed of 145 kph, and happily went at upward of 200 kph when the driver was feeling aggressive. I made a point of taking a nap or reading to the trailing daughters when he did that, because I can’t process fast enough to recognize approaching doom at that speed.
[Western Journal] According to the nation’s top infectious disease expert, black Americans should get the newly developed COVID-19 vaccine partly because a member of their race participated in making it.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, made the shocking statement Tuesday in a virtual appearance with the National Urban League livestreamed on Facebook.
The meeting, "Making It Plain: A Conversation with Dr. Fauci," focused on the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on African-Americans and other "people of color."
When asked about the reluctance of the black community to participate in medical trials over mistrust of the government, Fauci quickly moved to shore up trust in the vaccine and the testing process.
While the doctor admitted there is skepticism around the speed with which the vaccine made its way to the American public, he claimed cutting-edge technology cut the development timeline from years to months.

Identity medicine? Would the corollary be refusal to accept the Jarvik-7 or it's follow-ons ?
Apparently no credit can be extended the President of the United States for his heroic efforts with regard to the fielding of the Vaccine.
“It helps a man immensely to be a bit of a hero-worshipper, and the stories of the lives of the masters of medicine do much to stimulate our ambitions and rouse our sympathies.”

Just get LeBron, JayZ / Beyonce and Cardi B to make a PSA and it's a done deal, I mean those are the people that whole segment of society listens to slavishly.

Yet another example of what a clod and chump Fauxi is.

Two of my grandparents were French Canadians from Quebec, so by that logic this means I should hang sheetrock and drink Labatts.
Too funny. Mr. Wife’s mother is from Quebec. Mr. Wife learnt to hang drywall working for one of his Polish uncles, but one of his mother’s brothers was a builder — and his son continued in the business.
[American Conservative] The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for Attorney General nominee William Barr have focused heavily on Barr’s views on Special Counsel Robert Mueller. But nobody is asking about Barr’s legal crusade for blanket immunity for federal agents who killed American citizens.
Barr received a routine questionnaire from the Judiciary Committee asking him to disclose his past work including pro bono activities "serving the disadvantaged." The "disadvantaged" that Barr spent the most time helping was an FBI agent who slayed an Idaho mother holding her baby in 1992. Barr spent two weeks organizing former Attorneys General and others to support "an FBI sniper in defending against criminal charges in connection with the Ruby Ridge incident." Barr also "assisted in framing legal arguments advanced... in the district court and the subsequent appeal to the Ninth Circuit," he told the committee.
That charitable work (for an FBI agent who already had a federally-paid law firm defending him) helped tamp down one of the biggest scandals during Barr’s time as Attorney General from 1991 to early 1993. Barr was responsible for both the U.S. Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, two federal agencies whose misconduct at Ruby Ridge "helped to weaken the bond of trust that must exist between ordinary Americans and our law enforcement agencies," according to a 1995 Senate Judiciary Committee report.
After Randy Weaver, an outspoken white separatist living on a mountaintop in northern Idaho, was entrapped by an undercover federal agent, U.S. marshals trespassed on Weaver’s land and killed his 14-year-old son, Sammy. The following day, FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi killed his wife, Vicki, as she was standing in the cabin doorway. Horiuchi had previously shot Randy Weaver in the back after he stepped out of the cabin. The suspects were never given a warning or a chance to surrender and had taken no action against FBI agents. Weaver survived.

Gave up on Barr 4 months after taking office and doing NOTHING that involved the Clinton's/Obama's documented illegal activities.
REGARDING RANDY WEAVER
The media quickly decided to play the RACE CARD and slapped the title "white separatist" on the family.
It sure sounds racist, UNTIL you break it down and get pass the Liberal media deflective coverage for the Clinton era and their Odd Couple AG. collection of deadly Screw ups.
Yes - Weaver and his Family were White.
Yes - they were Society Separatists in that they wanted to live at an isolated distance from a rapidly and oddly changing Society.
None of which means racist.
Quoting from a PBS broadcast
"When the Weaver family moved to the remote hills of northern Idaho, they sought a retreat from a rapidly changing world — and the U.S. government."
NOTE: The Ruby Ridge Murders and the Waco Massacre both happen under the Clinton DOJ Watch. Both used the Gun Control Narrative of "saving lives" and ended up in the deaths and Murders of Many Many Innocent lives instead.
Using the Back Lives Only Matter (BLOM) own words, agenda and demands. Regarding their openly stated idea of a autonomous/separate Black Community in its beliefs and cultural. Would the Medias also apply it own terminology for (White) Separatists to the BLOM? Since the BLOM is preaching:
Black Community Separatism?
Would the MSM support Trump as they did the Clinton's Admins, if he sent in the Fed's and got similar results?
I doubt it.
BTW: A number of years later I briefly met Mr. Weaver at an Atlanta (Marietta Area??) Gun Show. You could see the past events had taken a great toll on him.
