#2 Isn't this old and happen a couple days ago? Yeah a turbine to cool a reactor failed and they had to scram the system for a bit which caused power outages to several cities/towns in the south. No danger and the rest of the plant is back online.

#4 After reading more sources, this is a second incident. The one I talked about was a couple days ago, but this is possibly new.
The US has radiation sensing satellites so they would know if that is the case.
