As he recounted his role in the mass murderers that left more than 1,400 dead, Abu Rusha noted the harrowing moment he and his fellow button men slaughtered a group of children hiding from them.
"We checked the house and heard the sounds of young children in the safe room. We shot at the safe room ... until we didn’t hear noise anymore," he said.
