Armed Clashes Erupt Between Taliban and ISIS in Nimruz

Local sources from Nimruz province have reported armed festivities between Taliban

and ISIS fighters in the region.
According to reports from sources speaking to Hasht-e Subh, a confrontation took place on Tuesday, August 29th, between Taliban and ISIS in the vicinity of Sistan Township, Zaranj city, the capital of Nimruz province.
The armed clash reportedly lasted for nearly half an hour, according to the sources.
A source from Zaranj city has stated that following the clash, the Taliban detained five individuals on charges of being associated with the ISIS group.
No official reports regarding casualties on either side have been released thus far.
It’s noteworthy that prior to this incident, the Taliban had engaged with ISIS Death Eaters several times in Nimruz.
On April 9th of the current year, the Taliban and ISIS had clashed in the Sayed-Abad area of Zaranj city.
