#5 ...There was an interesting report on NPR yesterday about the Russian/Wagner forces currently helping the Mali government do the Oppression Tango. Apparently it's Russian military 'advisors' with Wagner people actually doing the leading such as it is; that is to say, they point the Mali troops at a crowd and tell 'em to knock themselves out.

From his description of the size of the operation, it wouldn't surprise me if they were funneling weapons back to the Rodina...or buying a few off helpful Mali officials.
