Saudi Arabia arrests influential Yemeni former ally

Media sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday that the arrest came after the official was summoned by the head of the so-called Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad al-Alimi.

The sources reported the arrested Mufti Suhail Nahayan Samoudah, a security director of Mahrah province, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, has been held since last January.
