IDF troops said to shoot dead Bedouin Israeli trying to smuggle drugs from Egypt

[IsraelTimes] IDF troops shot and killed a Bedouin Israeli who was apparently trying to smuggle drugs across the border from Egypt, Hebrew media reports say.

The man is identified as a resident of a village near Dimona in the Negev desert.

The incident occurs near Har Harif on the border, an area that has seen frequent drug smuggling attempts.

The military has no immediate comment.
