IDF intel chief: Iran nearing 90% enrichment, world will be tested

has made "significant progress" toward producing 90 percent enriched uranium.

Speaking at an INSS conference Haliva says, "The moment is coming when the greatest test of the international community will come to light, when Iran entertains [the idea of] enrichment at 90%, even if only symbolically."

Haliva says IDF chief Aviv Kohavi’s five-day trip to the US, which is focused on the Iranian threat, comes at a "critical" time.

If Israel has a problem, then they can spend their shekels and young men's blood on it. I don't want a single American even getting an infected hangnail due to this. It's not worth it for us.

#4 If only America hadn’t spent so many years preventing Israel from destroying Iran’s nuclear bomb program, as Israel had done to Iraq’s and Syria’s previously. But President had strong opinions about whose side he was on, and so Israel has had to do what it can in terms of computer worms — do you remember the Stuxnet thing? It was said to be a joint project between Israel and America on President George W. Bush’s watch — and assassinating key nuclear scientists, not to mention that shocking Mossad raid that carried off Iran’s entire warehouse archive, all to slow down Iran until an American government is elected who’ll just be willing to just get out of the way and let Israel get on with it.

Nobody is asking America to handle the situation, just to get out of the way. Ditto for South Korea and the Norks, and a few select others.
