Strip into Israel early Monday morning, the second in several hours. Both rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system, the army said.
The second rocket came as Israel Defense Forces were attacking Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, targets in the Gaza Strip, in retaliation for the earlier rocket.
The army said it hit four Hamas compounds used for military training, in addition to a weapons workshop and the entrance to an underground terror tunnel.
The IDF said the strikes were in retaliation for the rocket that was fired earlier on Sunday night, marking the third consecutive night of rocket fire in southern Israel.
Following the second rocket, the airforce hit several more Hamas targets, including a heavy machine that tried to down the aircraft, the army said.
