Israel military says attack on Gaza tunnels caused civilian houses to collapse
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Israeli military said that an attack on a bully boy tunnel system in Gazoo on Sunday had caused civilian houses to collapse, causing unintended civilian casualties.
Aircraft struck at a tunnel system used by the Islamist bully boy group Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, under a road in Gaza City, the military said in a statement.

"The underground military facility collapsed causing the foundation of the civilian houses above them to collapse as well, leading to unintended casualties," it said.
The military said it "aspires to avoid civilian casualties as far as possible. But Hamas bears responsibility for intentionally locating its military infrastructure under civilian houses, thus exposing civilians to danger."

The IDF has dubbed Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,’s series of underground tunnels "the metro." It described the passages hit over night as the "C" line.
"As part of the attack, some 35 terror targets were attacked in a time period of around 20 minutes," a statement from the military said.
It also said the attack included 54 fighter planes that dropped some 110 precision munitions, striking 15 kilometers (over 9 miles) of tunnels.
Among the other targets it reported striking overnight were the homes of nine Hamas commanders throughout the Gaza Strip.
"The houses attacked were used as terrorist infrastructure and in some of the houses, weapons depots were even found," the IDF said.
The targeted houses included the homes of Hamas’s Beit Hanoun brigade commander, the Beit Hanoun company commander, the Gaza City company commander and the al-Shati brigade company commander, the IDF said.
A home in Shejaiya used by Hamas military intelligence was also targeted.
