In the meantime, the Ministry of Defense said 3 Taliban Death Eaters were killed and two others were maimed in an ANA operation in the Zherai district of Kandahar province on Saturday.
According to the report, vast areas were cleared of Taliban influence and some weapons belonging to the Death Eater group were also seized.
This comes as three coppers were killed in an insider attack at Senjedak checkpoint in Muqur district of Badghis province, media reported.
In another security incident, Two non-combatants were killed when a Taliban mortar shell hit the main market of Balkh district in Balkh province, Balkh police told media.
