The figures in their interactive feature refer to the total number of migrants living around the world from 1990

The map reveals that migration into the US has increased from 23,250,000 in 1990 to 49,780,000 in 2017

In the UK this number was 3,650,000 in 1990 but has since risen to 8,840,000 in 2017, figures show

Mr. Wife has pretty severe allergies — he started getting asthma attacks at the age of two. He got some relief after moving from his childhood home in Buffalo, NY to Cincinnati, Ohio after university, but with time his immune system started overreacting to the flora here. Thank goodness the treatments have improved since he was a child — the only time he was symptom-free was the year he mostly spent in Egypt.
