Turkish army says 34 Kurdish militants killed in n. Iraq air strikes

[Ynet] The Turkish military said on Tuesday 34 bully boyz from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in its latest air strikes on the group's camps in northern Iraq's Qandil mountain region.

has been bombing PKK targets in northern Iraq and in mostly Kurdish southeastern Turkey since July 24, in response to what it says are increased attacks by the Kurdish bully boyz on members of the security forces.
PKK denies Turkish army killed 34 of its elements in northern Iraq
[IraqiNews] On Tuesday, Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) denied, that the Turkish army killed 34 elements of the party during air raids on positions in Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq.
"Sky News Arabic" quoted Bakhtiar Dogan, a front man for the PKK, as saying: "The Turkish warplanes did not launch any air strikes on the PKK positions in Qandil Mountains last night, and no festivities between the two sides have occurred during the past 24 hours."
He added, "The Turkish authorities are exaggerating the size of losses in the ranks of the PKK in order to cover up the heavy losses incurred by the Turkish army at the hands of the PKK."
