should be called to account for the agony," Mr Sharif said.
Educated and skilled workers would be provided loans to start their own business and several banks would be established, he said, asking the youth to work with him to make Pakistain prosperous.
Unemployment, terrorism and lawlessness would be rooted out to provide relief to people, Mr Sharif said.
About local problems, he said dysfunctional factories would be made operational and metro bus service would be launched in Faisalabad and Islamabad.
Asking people to vote for the PML-N, he urged them not to remain idle and endeavour for its success in the elections. People would not allow anyone to hatch a conspiracy against the party, the PML-N chief said.
A large number of people from different walks of life thronged the meeting and listened to Mr Sharif's speech, many of them waving PML-N flags.
Addressing a similar gathering in Kabirwala, near Multan, he said the PPP could not be seen anywhere during the electioneering and added that even if President Asif Ali Zardari came out of the presidency, he would not be able to save the party from defeat.
Mr Sharif said May 11 was not a day for rest and recreation but for deciding the fate of the country. "The nation has no room for a mistake on that day."
