 Both Congressman Keith Ellison and Andre Carson are scheduled to speak at the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA]. The event entitled "Nurturing Compassionate Communities: Connecting Faith and Service" is scheduled to take place in Rosemont, Illinois from July 2nd to the 5th.
Among the radical speakers also in attendance will be Zaid Shakir, who has produced a CD entitled Jihad or Terrorism?" in which he blames the enemies of Islam" for equating the two, Siraj Wahhaj, an un-indicted co conspirator in the 1993 plot to bomb New York landmarks, and Tariq Ramadan [grandson of the founder of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood , Hassan al-Banna] who until recently was banned from entering the United States due to terror concerns.
