#2 The Indians don't want to become another pre-WW2 POLAND. "Needs to be solved in 2020" > doubt the Chicoms will wait that long, espec with US DEMS now in charge of Congress.

#3 The Chicoms via TIBETAN PLATEAU are looking down into India - easier for armies to go down a ridge/Mtn(s) than to trug upwards.

#4 China needs a nice little fiscal implosion to make it sit down and shut the fuck up.

#5 China wants the rivers for power and water.

Note that they have a plan to redirect that river with techniques similar to our 50's era PlowShare program.

#6 Chinese people are nuts when it comes to "territory that is traditionally China's". They lose the ability to think rationally.

#7  "territory that is traditionally China's".

The only place that doesn't show up on that map is Pitcairn Island and that'll probably turn out to be a typo anyway.

#8 Looking at that map, it brings up the question of whether they want Bhutan and Sikkim as well. It looks like India is the target of some Poland style partitioning.

#9 You guys sound like India is weak. They're not. China could get the shit kicked out of them in such a fight.

#10 One of the reasons the Indian IB (intelligence Bureau) doesn't trust the Karmapa Lama is chinese designs on Sikkim (an Indian state).

As for Bhutan (an Indian "protectorate"), Chinese troops have violated the border several times this year.

#11 territory that is traditionally China's

That sounds too close to "Islamic lands." And we know what that causes.
