#1 After watching the US loss rate of light vehicles to IEDs and ambushes in Iraq, why are the British sending so many of their troops out in unarmoured Land Rovers? They have a wide range of excellent light wheeled APCs, some of which where used in Northern Ireland against similar weapondry. They also have developed and licensed the Simba APC which is far better for crew protection than the Land Rovers, and has a model with ballistic windows and firing ports for the troops.
