A hiding place was found in Karabulak on June 22 during the investigation of the case on the activities of an international terrorist network in southern Russia. The objects found there are believed to be an electronic archive of Shamil Basayev, Nikolai Shepel, Deputy Prosecutor-General of Russia, said at a press conference here on Thursday.

âWe are ready to show part of the archive to journalists, including the materials dealing with the preparation for the act of terrorism, staged in Grozny in December 2002, and the original film featuring the blowing up of the complex of government buildings in the Chechen capital,â Shepel continued. In his opinion, the archive found in Karabulak may help investigate the case and expose cells of the international terrorist network.
