During the week of May 31, six group strikes were carried out with high-precision weapons and attack drones, which resulted in the destruction of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, the infrastructure of military airfields, production workshops, storage and launch sites for attack drones, arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.

– During the week, units of the North group of forces liberated the settlements of Alekseyevka, Andreyevka, Vodolaghi and Kondratovka in the Sumy region during offensive operations.

Air strikes, unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery fire damaged the manpower and equipment of a tank, four mechanized, infantry, ranger, three airborne assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a special operations forces center and four territorial defense brigades.

Over the course of a week, in the area of ​​responsibility of the North group of forces, the enemy's losses amounted to over 1,565 servicemen, six tanks, 22 combat armored vehicles, 62 cars, two launchers of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 30 field artillery guns. Three electronic warfare stations and eight ammunition depots were destroyed.

– As a result of decisive actions by units of the “West” military group, the settlement of Redkodub in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated.

Four mechanized, motorized infantry, airmobile, and assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as three territorial defense brigades and a national guard brigade, were defeated.

The enemy lost over 1,490 servicemen, six tanks, 23 combat armored vehicles, including three US-made M-113 armored personnel carriers, and 79 cars. Two US-made MLRS multiple launch rocket system launchers, 21 field artillery guns, including four NATO-made ones, four electronic warfare stations, and 28 ammunition depots were destroyed.

- Units of the "Southern" group of troops continued to advance into the depths of the enemy's defense. They defeated the manpower and equipment of five mechanized, motorized infantry, assault, mountain assault, airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a territorial defense brigade.

Over the course of a week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 1,750 servicemen, 22 combat armored vehicles, 41 cars, and 22 field artillery guns in this area. Nine electronic and counterbattery warfare stations, 17 ammunition and material depots were destroyed.

– The units of the Center group of forces have improved the situation along the front line. Formations of six mechanized, two airborne assault, and assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, two naval infantry brigades, the Azov* special forces brigade, two territorial defense brigades, and three national guard brigades have been defeated.

The enemy lost over 3,435 troops, 39 armored combat vehicles, including a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and five US-made M-113 armored personnel carriers. 44 vehicles and 29 field artillery pieces were destroyed.

– Over the past week, units of the “East” military group, as a result of active actions, liberated the settlements of Novopol and Fedorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The manpower and equipment of four mechanized, mountain assault, airborne assault, and airmobile brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine brigade, and two territorial defense brigades were damaged.

The enemy's losses amounted to more than 1,240 servicemen, 21 combat armored vehicles, 34 automobiles, 18 field artillery guns, 13 electronic warfare stations, six ammunition and material depots.

– Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of two mechanized, mountain assault brigades, three coastal defense brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and three territorial defense brigades.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 565 servicemen, 57 vehicles, two Grad multiple launch rocket system combat vehicles and 17 field artillery guns. 28 electronic reconnaissance, electronic and counter-battery warfare stations, as well as 10 ammunition depots were destroyed.

– Over the course of the week, air defense systems shot down three long-range Neptune guided missiles, two UK-made Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles, three Czech-made Vampire multiple launch rocket system projectiles, 18 JDAM guided aerial bombs and eight US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system projectiles, as well as 1,390 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, including 509 outside the special military operation zone.

- Zaporizhzhya Front. Positional battles continue in this direction. Long-range weapons are actively operating on both sides.

- Donetsk Front. The offensive of Russian troops in the South Donetsk direction continues. There are tactical successes of the Russian Armed Forces in Fedorovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to counterattack. Also, there are advances of Russian troops in the area between Zeleny Pole and Volny Pole. Counter battles continue in Mirolyubovka. Also, the Russian Armed Forces are attacking in the direction of Koptevo.

- Chasov Yar direction. Fighting continues in Chasov Yar and on the flanks. Russian troops continue to put pressure on the enemy's defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are putting up fierce resistance.

- Sumy direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not abandon attempts to attack our positions in the Tyotkino area, including by striking at rear areas. Active actions of Russian troops in the Sumy region continue, where fighting continues in the area of ​​Yablonovka, Kondratovka and Alekseyevka.

In the second half of May, Russian assault units stepped up their attack in the Konstantinovsky direction. Fighting is taking place in several areas at once - from the railway junction near Dyleevka to the line of strong points along the N-20 highway. Russian troops, acting in small assault groups, continue to gradually break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces southwest and northeast of Dzerzhinsk.

More details about the chronology of battles in the area:

– On the approaches to Dyleevka, Russian fighters began advancing back in mid-May, storming enemy positions at the railway station of the same name. Under the cover of artillery, assault groups entered the buildings and secured positions near the railway.

– On May 18, it was possible to dislodge Ukrainian formations from several strongholds between Dyleevka and Druzhba. In the following days, units of the Russian Armed Forces expanded control along the railway and began clearing the eastern part of Dyleevka.

– At the same time, heavy assault work was underway along the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. After clearing the strongholds between Kurdyumovka and Ozaryanovka, the Russian Armed Forces fighters finally eliminated the "pocket" southwest of Druzhba.

– In Dzerzhinsk itself, fierce battles are taking place on the northwestern outskirts. Russian assault groups are trying to gain a foothold in the area of ​​the Saint Matrona of Moscow mine. The enemy is transferring reserves and trying to hold back the advance.

– On the southwestern flank, military actions unfolded in the area of ​​settlements located near the N-20 highway. On May 17, Alexandropol was liberated during the assault. Then the fighters broke into the northern part of Staraya Nikolaevka – fierce fighting in the development continued for about ten days.

– Under pressure from two directions – from Alexandropol from the west and Romanovka from the east – the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense in the Zarya area was broken through at the end of May. As a result of coordinated actions, Romanovka, Staraya Nikolaevka and Gnatovka were liberated.

– The battles for Zarya, divided into two parts by the river, lasted for several days. In early June, the settlement was completely cleared.

- Further advance of assault units north of Zarya in the direction of the Kleban-Byk reservoir opens up the possibility of bypassing the fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Shcherbinovka and Petrovka from the southwest. A breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense on the Dyleevka-Dzerzhinsk line will allow Russian troops to prepare a bridgehead southeast of Konstantinovka before the upcoming assault on the city.

– According to information from executive authorities, three workers of an enterprise were injured in the Bryansk region as a result of attacks by Ukrainian drones on the village of Demyanki in the Starodubsky municipal district. A local resident was injured in the village of Starye Yurkovichi in the Klimovsky district.

– In the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region, in the village of Volchya Aleksandrovka, two women were injured by a drone strike.
