#3 There might be a silent majority in Gaza that is anti Hamas. However, by and large those people are afraid to be too loud.

In any event, Hamas has lost a lot of its leaders, a lot of its weapon inventory, a lot of its physical infrastructure (probably 80%-90% of each). Furthermore a lot of their mideast allies are not happy campers. Iran is broke and the Arab States are not willing to give blank checks. They can celebrate all they want.
