Yeah, some kind of think tank, consult, influence peddling job. He's not gonna fit well with the Trumpian DoD.

I was not there but given Israel's recent determination, I suspect the reaction to Austin's "sharp message" was a smile and a shrug, which is diplospeak for "Yeah, whatever. Also, go *bleep* yourself".
