#2 UNRWA keeps Palestinians in perpetual refugeehood

If the Paleostinian Problem ever gets solved, UNRWA is out of business. Gone. All those good-paying jobs, the fancy offices, cocktail parties with the donors, all gone. Tragic, from an NGO point of view.

This is not an unusual dynamic. You see it with teacher's unions. As long as the kids cannot read or write, the school system needs more money. And we need to pay teachers more to attract qualified people. The fact that more money didn't fix anything is a sign we need more money.
