Targeting is easy and cheap and inflicts great monetary damage on the World economy, because these activities deter free commercial navigation.

Granted, the West has the capabilities to easily neutralize the Houthi piracy threat, but there's no political will.

#2 Its a narrow passage of water. On one side you got somalia and eritrea with just a tiny safe spot Djibouti where sadly the chinese moved in

The other side you got Saudi, Oman and Yemen

The ships got to go through there to get from China to Europe

It is a choke point

So maybe Nato better stop destabilising Russia and instead go back to patrolling the shipping lanes that bring the goods to europe
