#1 Did I wish UKR good luck in keeping Kursk, or did I just think? But I said a month, UKR proved me wrong - two months, maybe three. Tic toc.

#2 It was fun while it lasted. Certainly a great PR victory.

I think it went on longer than expected because the Rus basically blew the whole thing off by letting the local second string forces deal with the problem, rather than pulling people from the main fronts. The Ukrs did well playing hit & run through the countryside, but needed more men & equipment to either press on or dig in.
