#1 It seems to me I recall an article, somewhere, can't remember where or exactly when but it was many years or even decades ago, about penny banks in Bangladesh. But IIRC it was an old woman who started the practice and she loaned primarily to other women so they could buy material for weaving and sewing. So now we have a Nobel laureate taking credit for it. Funny, though, ever since Baraq got a Nobel prize I haven't had much respect for it.
