#4 I think the SLAMER is only for the later F16Cs. I don't think any late model F16Cs are going to Ukraine.

#6 I don't think any late model F16Cs are going to Ukraine

I know the Dutch and the Netherlands are giving F-16A/B Block 20 MLU (Mid-Life Update) variants which are just after the 1991 versions. They can definitely use the HARM, but the slammer used by the block 50+ so it is out of their reach.

Honestly I would be surprised if any are close to the front. Ukraine only has a dozen pilots now (by the end of the year they will have 25ish) and risking them and the planes is foolish. Better to use them as air defense for the airfields and factories in the west of Ukraine.

Yeah, that is what I would do if I were me. Near the front, they become vulnerable to Russian air defense systems + guy in treeline with MANPAD. They are going to need some air defense of their own too, juicy little targets on the ground that they are. So better keep them in the back.

Also, depending on the exact loadout, it looks like F-16 anti-air missiles are shorter range the Russian glide bombs. Corrections welcome.
