I'd have to report it as income for taxation purposes, which I would were I to receive monies, which I don't.

As for regnum.ru : they have the best mix of Russian local and Russian international non official news, which I why I use them in preference to other news sources.

As an aside, you are welcome to post your own articles/news/headlines to counter regnum.ru . I won't stop you.

#6 A lot of the Regnum bullshit is countered by Ukrainian sites like Korrespondent, for the war in Ukraine. Other organic fertilizer is countered by Rantburg commenters, who contribute their knowledge and observations for no reward except the buzz of sharing with those who can appreciate it properly.

#7 Most of this is just bunk about the F-16. If you want to talk about short legs for a US fighter, I give you the F-18.

But that being said, the versions that Ukraine has are slightly upgraded ones from 1991 that fought in Desert Storm. Did a great job blowing up Iraq's very good air defence, but there was a lot (AND I MEAN A LOT) of help from everything. Intel, jamming, sister wings, etc. Ukraine does not have that. So will the F-16s be useful? Yes, very. They are great air defense fighters for taking down larger drones and missiles and keeping the Russian aircraft 30km away from the front line.

Downside, the F-16s also have to stay 30km from the front line or they get knocked out of the sky as they don't have the same support as the US ones do. So mostly protecting Kiev and the factories while making the Russian jets dropping glide bombs nervous is their role for now.
