#2 Last I looked, Zelensky had issued a royal edict forbidding negotiations Russia while Putin was in power. Is that still in effect?

#3 At this time Z is no longer legitimate leader in the eyes of Russia. So if it is Putin or Russia all now are one and the same. The west wants Putin out. Whoever his replacement is could and probably will be far more severe to deal with.
