#3 A couple of comments in no particular order.

The Afghan is not an "extremist."
In Islamic countries Stürzenberger would be prosecuted, tried, convicted and sentenced to a long prison term (de facto death sentence) or sentenced to death directly.

The latter is true for Taliban Afghanistan, the late and unlamented "liberated Afghanistan", and the most powerful countries in the Islamic world like Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Stürzenberger is anti-totalitarian and only warns of the dangers of political Islam (which is admittedly present day mainstream Islam).

The AFD has massively Corbynized itself. At present the AFD is pro-Qatar, pro-Iran, pro-Erdogan, pro-Muslim Brotherhood and consequently also pro-Hamas and pro-Islamization.

This assessment is based on public statements made by high ranking AFD officials.

There is/was.

But non-political Islam is an extremist (extremely liberal, and compatible with Western civilization) powerless fringe group within Islam that can only physically survive under Western protection.

The above mentioned Mosque had to close due to terroristic threats after 10/7. A faltering West cannot protect anyone or anything.

And yes, present day mainstream Islam is a monstrously intolerant totalitarian political movement that is politically far more aggressive than the post-Stalin SU officially was..

so what actually happened was this

a critic of Islam was preparing for a political speech in Mannheim

an Islamist stabbed him in the face cutting him from mid-face to lips, he's in serious condition.

But media is blaming him as "far-right" because blaming the victim is what we do now if the attacker is Islamist.

So the police ran in, pre-programmed to blame "far right".

One of the politician's aides had bravely tackled the Islamist stabber

The police ran in and tackled - not the stabber - but the heroic aide.

The Islamist immediately got up and stabbed the police officer in the neck and head.

That's the seriously wounded police officer.

The other police ran in then and shot the Islamist stabber.

And the media are blaming the victims as "far-right" like they deserved it, for noticing Islam is a problem, and being proven right by being attacked by an islamist.
