So, nothing new here. This has been the situation from the get go. Biden and Zelensky still think they can win and don't give a rat's ass how many people die in the effort.

It is not really about winning in the traditional sense. Winning would mean the game comes to an end. IMAO, this has always been an attempt to grind down the Russians by parties who shall remain unnamed using Ukraine and its people as an expendable tool.

In Zelensky's particular case, "winning" means a continuing flow of money and position so he does not have to go back to being a stand-up comedian or trying to revive his acting career

Side note: When hostilities do eventually end, there will be lots of money to be made rebuilding Ukraine.

#4 Yes. I would be watching my back very carefully if I was the Z man. Kinda reminds me of that Afghan president, can't remember his name but he wore a cape. He was smart though. He got out before things went south.
