#1 USAF is retiring its E-3's, but I doubt they'd sell any to Russia.

Though, who knows, if Joe is re-elected at the neocons want to extend the conflict indefinitely.

#2 ...IF this is accurate - and the guy seems to have done his homework - the Russians may be beyond any possibility of taking on a peer-level air force until they get a functioning, fully manned AWACS force back.

#3 Wishful thinking. When useful production and deployment will occur quickly with many upgrades. Besides "Arguably, after two years of intensive operations over Ukraine, availability of remaining A-50Us is !!rumored!! to be ‘low’. That said, even at ‘best times’ (early during the war), the Russians never deployed them the way NATO would do so: i.e. it never kept 2-3-4-5 aircraft airborne and ‘on station’ for 24/7. This is simply not the way the VKS operates. Instead, they were deployed to improve the protection of zones of special interest".
