#3 ...FWIW, some years ago we went to Biltmore, the old Vanderbilt estate near Asheville NC that's now a museum and park. If you take the big tour, eventually you get to see the servant's quarters down towards the bottom of the house, and I'll tell you what - they were nicer than most of the single airman's quarters I had when I was in.
